Bissell Carpet Cleaner Powerbrush Deep Cleaner Vacuum - Page 2 Questions & Answers
My bissell carpet shampooer won't spray out water
The tubes inside the machine are probably clogged. Dismantle top hood and disconnect the three lines at the pump, open up entire top housing and inspect heater. Disconnect two tubes and heater and blow out with air compressor. That will spray all the junk, soap that has built up and your machine will be good as new. If you can't do this yourself, contact bissell and ask where your local repair center is
My PowerSteamer PowerBrush Deep Cleaner 1694-W wont spray water
Well what I had to do was replace the pump motor you will have to take it apart and look to see if it has ant rust then look at the pump witch it is a white canister looking thing see if it ceased up and then use 3n1 oil or wd40 on it and work with it tell it is free spinning! Then it will work
How do you hook the hose up to the sink faucet?
STOP! Stop before you do some serious damage (and possibly electrocute yourself). Admittedly, I'm not familiar with this particular machine, but I don't know of any vacuum cleaner that requires a hose to be connected to a faucet. It sounds like a recipe for disaster! If necessary, go to the Bissell website and download a User Manual.
Bissell # 17N4
The large container is for hot water and the smallest one is for carpet cleaner.
I have a bissell pro
Ours would not spray water either, after messing with it for ages I discovered the round black housing that the tank locks into where the water flows out of the tank was loose. So I held the housing from underneath while seating the tank & it started working. It's very flaky & a lousy design. Good luck.
