Dryer not drying-the sceen has af flashing please

An "AF" code means there is a low airflow condition and the clothes may not dry properly. To remedy this, check to make sure the lint screen is cleaned off and that there is no blockage in either the vent duct that runs from the dryer to the wall or the vent hood on the exterior of the house.

It is new and it will not even start the drum

The drum doesn't rotate in the sensing stage. This is when the washer is determining how much water will be needed based on the weight of the items in the washer. Once it has been determined, the water will go into the machine and THEN the agitation will begin. That's why the lid locks during the sensing stage: so we don't keep adding another item or two because that will throw off the calculations the machine is making when it's "sensing." My Cabrio is less than a year old and I still want to open the lid to see if there's enough water in there. But that's no longer necessary with all this new technology.
I hope this helps you out! If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my advice. Thanks!

Trying to install whirlpool cabrio. hoses seem to

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call ;-0(

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C

Should plastic plugs be removed from hot and cold

If they are SOLID plugs, then yes, absolutely! They will be plugs to stop stuff getting into the valve while it is in storage and transit. If they are sieve like plugs with tiny holes in, then no, absolutely not because they are filters to stop grains of sand that might get into the water supply getting into the valve and blocking it when it is in use.

Where can I purchase the tech sheets/wiring

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

My experience is that it is extremely difficult to obtain schematics for any washer and that they do not normally come with machines.
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer technical manual' and you may be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!
May I also suggest you try the manufacturer's web site direct? You may find, however, that it will supply only to service engineers but good luck anyway.

The washer will not spin. All the lights are

LD does mean long drain so the best thing to check is the drain pump itself and the connections to the drain pump. Remove all the water out manually (as much as possible) then tip the machine backwards so you can get underneath of it. Near the back is the drain pump and it's connected to the drain hose itself. Disconnect the drain hose as well as the hose coming from the tub and see if anything is jamming the drain pump motor or hoses. If everything checks clear and good, replace the drain pump motor, otherwise just clear out the blockage. When on spin it goes into lockout, keeps shacking

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Although you say that it is leveled I would advise checking it using my general guidance notes which follow- just in case ;-0)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is necessary to ensure absolutely that the machine, even when empty, has all 4 feet very firmly on the floor, and I mean firmly.
Doesn't matter whether it is empty or not but switch it off then-
very firmly push one front corner diagonally into the centre of the machine (sorry about my UK spelling!) and see if the machine moves or rocks AT ALL, even the slightest. If it does you will need the open-ended spanner which came with the (new) machine........which of course went missing a long time ago?!! An adjustable spanner will suffice.
Adjust the foot under that corner downwards until it is very firmly- almost pushing- against the floor but not so far that the corner lifts up!
If this corner did not rock do the same to the other.
Once you cannot rock the machine the slightest little bit, screw the locking nuts up tight to the underside of the machine so that they will not move. Ideally the rear feet should also be locked.

If this has not cured the problem it is possible that the internal drum suspension is malfunctioning.

Good luck,

John C

I have A WhirlPool Cabrio.. when i start a load..

Fl code indicates an overfill condition. If the washer is empty, then you likely have a problem with the water level pressure switch. If the washer is full of water and will not drain, you likely have a problem with the drain pump or the washer drain line.

If the washer is full of water, make sure that the washer drain is clear and working properly. Check the drain hose for kinks or clogs. If you find no problems with these issues, I recommend that you manually drain the washer using a wet/dry shop vacuum. Check the drain pump and connecting hoses for problems. You may need to replace the drain pump of water will drain out of the washer properly but the pump will not work properly. A clog in the check ball assembly at the bottom of the tub can also prevent the washer from draining properly.

Welcome to fixya

I have a solution for this

Content

The error code your seeing more than likely is associated with the systems wash cycle. If your unable to wash at all, then the problem is located beyond the lid lock wiring.

Your pre-solution is located above. More information is available in the comments

Whirlpool cabrio WTW6700TW1 only fills little bit,

The F51 error is a RPS (rotary position sensor) board failure where the control board looses contact with the RPS during the machines operation. The RPS uses hall effect sensors to determine the speed and direction of the drive motor, allowing the control board to constantly monitor the motors operation. Because this error is a communication error and not a mechanical error with the motor itself (that would be and F52 error) we can limit our trouble shooting to the three items that make up the RPS circuit, the control board, the wiring harness, and the RPS itself.

I HAVE A WHIRLPOOL TOP LOAD CABRIO WASHER MOD.

Hello

Error code F1 is caused when the control on your washer is either bad or about to go bad. This is a common issue with Whirlpool Cabrio washers and they are aware of this. I have also seen them replacing the control without any charge, don't really know about the labor charges but they usually won't charge you for the part. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
