or if all else fails:
If you enter wrong password for more then 5 times,it ll ask you to enter the puk number....now call your customer care and
get the puk number...enter the puk number in the space given for password....thats it...problem is fixed
If you had locked your mobile then update the formware all saved passwords will be deleted.
P990i Culd not be conneced tp PC
Now, the likelihood is it is NOT your phone(s). Just try connecting

I just changed the the theme of my SE P990i. Then,
p990i wont boot, hard reset? any suggestions?

so lame, so i was installing a couple themes from se's website and my bottom bar was gone, so i restarted the phone, now when its booting it gets about half way on the scroll bar (where its black with white letters saying sony ericsson) the bar stops right under the 'r' in ericsson
so i was wondering if there is a way that i can get around this by maybe doing a hard reset?
o and yes i did pull the battery, about 7 times now, been trying different things (only allowing it to boot so far and removing the battery, no sim, holding keys etc..)
please help, thanks

so hopefully this will help someone in the future, i did a firmware upgrade and it fixed it, woo
Cant install desktop themes to p990i
First try to restore factory settings , if that didn't work , then update the software of your device and try again .

Invalid sim

I think that my phone got a virus while
Just check for any virus threat by connecting it through usb cable. Even its not working try formatting your memory card and then try again once more, hope it will help you to overcome the problem.
I install the theme and it give me some error and
i think the theme you installed was not compatible to your model. pls check model of phone to install the theme. and other reason may be the theme is a corrupted one. check that which one is correct.
I can not master reset
go to menu and open settings and go to master reset & it will aske you code and you shold enter 12345 then ok. the restart your mobile it will be master reseted
I've gatta virus on my p990i
Hi,
Get a netquin antivirus on www.getjar.com, run the virus check. If this does not work then you'll need to get the memory card out and stick it into a memory stick and insert it into you pc. Right click on the Icon for the memory stick and run an antivirus check.
After completion fix it back on.
Ths should fix the problem
