Kawaki dvd player is stuck
Hi,
Disconnect the power supply for few minutes, say 15 minutes and then turn it ON. If the problem still remains, this confirms an internal circuitry problem. More often this is due to the bad caps on the power supply board. You need to open the unit and check the caps on the power supply board. If faulty, you need to replace it with a new one of similar value. If this is not the problem, there could be few other possibilities which needs board level repair.
Let me know,so that we could proceed.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
How do I put it
Plug the fat cables into the monitors on the bottom, and then to the player in the D shaped holes. Plug the 12V (car) adapter into your car's power outlet and then to the player in the small hole that may be marked AC/DC in. There's only one hole that will work - can't mess it up.
Same
Reader or "laser" lens probably just needs to be cleaned. Do this w/ rubbing alchohol and Q-tip.
disconnect power b4 you do this.
No valid disc message displayed. Disc is spinning.
When a DVD player starts doing that,
it either needs to be cleaned, or something is going wrong with the
DVD mechanism inside of it. You can purchase DVD lens cleaner from
any large retail store that has an electronics section. However, if
you clean it and the problem persists, it will likely be cheaper to
replace the unit rather than trying to have it repaired unless you're
under warranty in which case any repair or exchange will be covered
by said warranty. If you call the manufacturer they will give
you your full range of options.
