I have a Dynex DX-55L150A11 connected to spectrum cable thru an HDMI cable. No problem with sound when watching a channel. when I go to the Guide menu and exit out of the Guide menu, I loose sound.

How to add channels to dyex tv
That depends. Most older televisions can't handle more than 99 channels. Also your cable provider will set the amount of channels you can receive.

Dynex TV model number DX 40L261a12 power bottom red , touch screen for power bottom will not work but have sound coming from power bar speakers and screen blank..no remote....HELP
Sounds like the screen is no good or the circuit board with the drivers that operate the screen went bad which is a replaceable item
