You first need a HEPA vac. Toner is considered a carcinogen.

Power off the printer, open left door and press in the drum unit (press in the area just above the square button) until it clicks into place. Close the door and power on.

Open the left cover and push the drum unit inside (above the waste toner bottle) to lock. You will hear a sound like "click". If you cannot push the drum unit, you can first remove the developer unit.

It might be the main charger (MC-310 or MC-320) or the ground of the developer unit. In the first case, just remove the roller from the drum unit and clean it. In the second case, you have to remove the engine pwb (the board under the printer) and check the spring which grounds the developer unit.

Here is a link where you can download the documentation for your printer. Click on the link for your model, then the "documentation" tab. Then download what you want from there. Hope this helps.

The lines are more than likely caused by either the Drum, Developer or Fuser unit. I have found in many cases that if non genuine toner is being used this will give you poor quality images. You can try using genuine toner which may resolve your issue but you may have to run a few hundred prints to clear out the old toner before the image improves.

The drum unit is not installed properly. open the left door remove the toner wast bottle puch on the gray little plastic to remove the drum unit rienstal the drum unit firmley, instal the wate bottle back close the left door, and hopffuly will work

It is a "mechanical error". The part after the colon is the number of pages printed. It's probably worthwhile taking the trays, toner and cartridge out and opening all the access doors and checking for something obvious before calling in an engineer.
