Please try this

To scan, you need the HP Photosmart software installed (you can download it from HP at the link below). Start HP Photosmart, then put your original in the scanner and press the "Scan" button. You can scan multiple sheets, when you're done, click "done" and the files will be saved as JPEGs in the My Scans folder in My Documents.

Unless you have some OCR software (Optical Character Recognition), the scans you get will be just images. (My F380 came with IRIS OCR software, but I've never used it.)

There is an OCR reader in the programs included with the install disk. This OCR will break down your entire document for editing. If you don't have the disk, it very simple to get all the software from the site.

Check the software that does the printing. Look for a mirror printing option.

step1: Check printer is powering on or not., if not check the adapter. step2. When I press the scanner button the top power button starts blinking but the machine does not scan. I have not used the scanning function on this machine before. Please help...you may need to reinstall your ..

Check your printer settings. Try a test print. Call HP Tech Support or YouTube. Also check the scanning surface. Is it printing all the way across, then missing the vertical or vice-verse?

First pull all cartridges make sure packing tape is removed. Then use q-tip dampened with alcohol clean all cartridges. try youtube for answer.

try unpluging thee power to the printer, plug it back in and watch for the icon to pop up on the screen, click on it and clear any pending tasks. Or use the start button in the lower left of your monitors screen and go to the control panel, look for the picture of a printer and CD (HARDWERE/SOUND)

May be u did not install the original cartridge in your printer please buy the cartridge in HP center. its only cartridge problem its not printer problem..
