There is no "button" to dial the voicemail. (you didn't read manual). You access your voicemail by dialing YOUR OWN CELL NUMBER.(find it here): Menu / Settings / Phone info / Build info / YOUR #.(copy it down)If your cell # is: 101-555-1234, DIAL: 1015551234 / hit green phone.Just follow all the voice prompts to set up your greeting message, access & delete voicemail messages, etc..ADD YOUR OWN NUMBER TO YOUR PHONE -- AS A CONTACT.Place it in double parenthesis, just like this: "VOICEMAIL"When you open phone and hit the contacts button, it will ALWAYSbe the very FIRST contact in your list of contacts. Screen on phone went blank
Hello,
The problem with your phone is just flex problem, the flex
on the screen of your phone is weak or worn out, this is a common
problem among slide or flip phone.
What you need to do is to
replace the flex on the screen of your phone, you can get this done by
going to any local phone repairer within your vicinity to help get it
fix or replace.
Once the flex is replace, your phone display
problem is solve and the screen will start displaying.
Take care.
When I recive a txt the sent time is not the
check if the time on the phone is correct, if it is, ask the sender for the original time the message was sent.because messages get delayed by the network sometimes.
if it does not correspond then the problem is from the network.
take note if it happens all the time, then you contact your customer care center for your network service provider.

BLACK SCREEN PROBLEM
it crapped out either the system software or the switch that recognizes when its flipped open -- shut the phone down.. crack it open a few centimeters so u can kinda see the screen i.e less than a 1/4 the way open , using a toothpick or something similar use that to press the power button, wait and the phone should load up. note allow it to completely load to the main screen and try to navigate the software while still in this position you may be able to flip it open to work it more comfortably but definately WRITE *pen/paper* your important info from the phone i.e #'s and ect.. and prepare to buy another phone

Kyocera oyster screen blank
I hope that when you say blank it means partially lit, with a kind of background, but no image.
This solution is not for an abused phone, as it does not seem to be mechanical, or due to a loose connection. It rather seems like a firmware failure. It will not make your phone usable, instead, it will enable you to retrieve your saved numbers. Once these cheap things start failing they become disposable.
Tried removing battery: No cigar. Tried opening it carefully (under 90 degrees) still no solution.
Here's what worked for me. Phone off, either by powering it down of by having removed the battery.
Get a toothpick, and with the phone CLOSED in the off position, pinch the power-on button and let the phone come on closed. It may not work the very first time, but you should be patient. Once it comes on, you can do just about anything with it until you power it down.
**Make sure you have charged your battery prior to this, since will be spending some time retrieving your numbers**
Good Luck!
KX90-125 Kyocera Unlock phone
if you never changed your unlock code it could be the last 4 digits of your phone number or the standard 0000 or 1234. could also be 6 digit code 000000 or 123456 or 654321.
if your changed your lock code you may need to contact your cell phone service provider for the master lock code or phone reset password.
don't forget to have your account info ready when you call.
Blank Screen
I had same problem, I found if you do not open phone past 90 degrees from keypad, screen will stay lit and is usable, but when fully open, screen shuts off after a few seconds, apparently a faulty connection when fully open. I use mine like this, with a backstop attached to phone body to prevent it from opening more then 90 degrees, and after a few months, it is still working.

How do I reset my Kyocear Oystr KX9
To reset it you have to take the battery out for a short time, a minute or so. I am also having problems with mine turning on and charging. I have also heard that the battery life is not good.
Hope this helps some.

Missing calls
Hi,
I had this problem once and on my phone I would get one ring and then it would stop. Checking the phone I saw I missed a call. I live in the mountains of Puerto Rico and I believe what is happen is the network plays the rings for the caller but the phone isn't doesn't get the signal or start ringing until 3 or 4 rings later. In other words the caller has already heard 4 or 5 rings and has given up. While you have heard only one ring and when you got to the phone you already missed the call. I told my friends to let it rings more then 5 times before giving up and that worked.

Shine a bright light on it and see if you can see and resemblance of the display on the screen.
If you can see a display, the backlighting on the screen is broken - if you can't see a display, it's likely the screen is broken or the display controller is broken.
Backlight would be the cheapest fix, usually. Also, you should be able to transfer your phone numbers over to a new phone by using the same SIM card so long as the phone numbers were stored on the SIM card - the only way to find out is to put it in another phone and check out the address book.
