you need first to have the phone unlock by taking it to a mobile store, then also have them firmware reflash on the phone.

Phone freeze, Are you trying to unlock the phone to a different service provider? if yes you need to get the phone reflashed, if not try to power cycle the phone and if you are still having the same issues, it might be a software problem that needs reflash as well.

Have you sync'd the phone with the bluetooth device? If you have then before you can transfer files you need to right click on the bluetooth icon in the system tray and choose either send a file(from computer) or receive a file(from phone). Hope this helps.

Go to menu then settings and click on call settings. Then go to all calls and auto reject should pop up. Then you just add the number to the reject list and activate your list. And make sure the box by the number has a check mark in it or it wont work

The outer LCD screen is messed up now. Fixing this means replacing the front LCD screen... Go to a local repair shop..

Bought a SGH-C417 off ebay. The flash cards are compatible. (I'm using my wife's now.)

I never got the back off the darn thing, but it's dry. No condensation on screens. When I put the battery back in, the light behind the keys light up and the ******** goes off. This continues until I hit the power button, Phone will the go dark and be unresponsive.
Call me redneck suspicious, but I suspect this is planned obsolesce. I know there is a moisture detecting strip in the phone to indicate if it has ever been wet. I just wouldn't be surprised to find a planed fail point built in also. I've use way to many electronics after a good dunking to believe that EVERY phone that ever gets moist dies.
