Hi visit Onlinegsmunlock.com to Unlock your Sony Ericsson T68i mobile from o2 network .here they ask you the IMEI number of your mobile .then at last they deliver you code to unlock your mobile.
hello there....well its quite simple... 1)......there is nothing wrong with your phone ...its your SIM... if it is asking for a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code...call your subscriber and ask them for PUK code, entering this code will reset your sim
if u keep entering wrong your sim will be damaged so call them
If the error message is saying sim damaged call them and ask for a "sim replacement" you will get a new sim while you will retain the same number ,however you will lose the phone numbers and other data stored in sim, this can be free but it depends on the company and how 'customer friendly they are
2).......to unlock the phone to any network you need to call the customer care of your original network provider..just keep the model number of your phone number handy (you will find that on the box in which you got the phone)...or the IMEI number (15 digits mostly) by dialing *#06# on your phone or beneath the battery or on the box near bar code....this is a paid service and charges differ from network to network
that should solve the problem.....you will be able to use any sim in your phone of any service around the world

you can also buy a new sim but that will change the number
You must use the PUK number provided by your phone company. It has been given to you with your sim card. It's a 10 digit number. If you cannot find the PUK number please contact your phone company.
I presume you mean for a phone? All questions need full 'make model (what it is)' as first 3 words please. The 'smart chip', normally referred to as a SIM Card comes from your cellphone service provider. It may already be locked to a particular telco and you can normally tell that when it boots up, or it is mentioned in settings.https://www.google.com/search?q=smart+chip+for+a+Sony+Ericsson..
What message are you getting on the screen when you turn the phone on? Is it recognising there is a sim card there but not letting you use it? The most common reason for this is often a 'Locked' handset. Most networks set the phones the sell to only work for their sim cards. Most specialist phone retailers can usually Unlock the handset for a small fee.
If it isn't recognising that there is a card there it will either be a faulty sim card or a faulty phone.
This phone was first released in 2008 and Sony's support for mobile phones by an agent is discontinued. In short, calling Sony for support won't help. The T700's technology was GMS/HSPA. T-Mobile and AT & T are carriers which access such. Whether either would assist you with setting up network connections is unknown to me. It sounds like your query involves the basic setup. I would review that in relation to the feature you are attempting to access and then query your carrier. But that route may offer no joy. The user manual has a troubleshooting section Here is the user manual for the T700 but there is a real question of your access to software updates for a 2008 release phone. I have no idea of the veracity of the service that claims to offer repairs or unlocking for this phone. This looks like an exercise in frustration. Sorry.
