In my w700i when i open camera,it shows to open
hi friend,
in your mobile back side. a lens protection cover is there. so, when you go for capture a picture then, firstly remove that cover. it never say that statement again, if you open your camera. when lens cover not removed. it show similar statement again.....!

W700 mic sloution
Blow the microphone hole and test it again. If this don't useful, you need to fix it by open phone chasing (not recommended for phone in warranty time). See the mic part in bottom board, clean by soft brush.
If this also failed, change your microphone with new spare part.

The Problem is
no it was just a software error or change some setting in camera .first you go to camera image settings white balance set it into auto and make sure that any effects is turned on when it is on select off. you can't fix your problem in this method please reset your phone go to setting /general/reset/reset all .Before you reset copy all contacts to the memory card and copy all wanted data to the card then remove memory card from the phone before resetting.it protect your data.another method is simple just remove your battery in the phone when the phone is turned on and keep some minute.after that turn on your phone it will be OK
When i open my phone then it command to reformat
It means there are internal error in your phone, you can format it but make a back up data before you do it. You can also put off your memory card so it won't formatted as well.

All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the
Sony Ericsson . Once the wipe is complete, the phone will
reboot to its factory fresh state.
First, try this:
- From the main home screen, tap menu
- Tap Settings, then Privacy
- Tap Factory data reset
- Tap Reset phone
- Enter your password if required, then tap Erase everything to confirm
If that doesn't work, or if your phone is frozen:
- Turn the power off. If your Sony Ericsson Xperia is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
- Hold the Left and right buttons located beneath the display
- Press and release the Power button
- Follow the on-screen instructions to hard reset your Xperia X10

you need to install your sony ericsson driver in your pc and then you connect your phone to your pc with data cable then sync your phone with pc then your sms will copied to pc

while downloadig GPRS settings from vodafone live on my phone sony ericson w700i,it shows authentication failed,connection discarded

sir please service your cellphone in the sonyericsson service center.they will install the new softwares for your cellphone to working in the normal condition....................
