How can I remove door?
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
From my understanding you need assistance removing the door from your Frigidaire microwave. In order to assist you further I would need to have your model number. You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside left had wall. Once I have that information I would be able to look into any available information for you. -Matt
Fan turned on and will not shut off.
Hey friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I see that the fan on your Frigidaire microwave will not shut off. I would suggest performing a reset on it and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. If the reset does not help resolve your issue it could be a potential problem with your fan motor or control panel. We would recommend contacting a professional technician to come out and properly disassemble your microwave to pinpoint which component may need to be replaced. Hopefully this information is helpful to you. -Matt
Why doesn't it work until I push up on the door just a bit?
There is a safety interlock that the door actuates that lets the oven run. If the door is bent, the interlock switch is not in the right position and the oven does not think that the door is closed.
There is not usually an adjustment on the interlock stud. You might try to re-align the door.
Frigidaire microwave door is sagging
Hello Irfan, thank you for your post!
From the information you have provided the door on your Frigidaire microwave is sagging. Your door could be sagging due to the hinges or the door being damaged. I would check to make sure there is no visible damage. It is possible that the hinges and door may need to be replaced as well. To help avoid any unnecessary part purchases you may need to seek assistance from a professional technician for proper repairs. -Matt
Mwv150kba. 160 vac applied. Why doesn't it work now?
Jim,
If you mean that 160 volts was applied to the microwave, the fuse is usually rated for 200 to 300 volts, so it would not necessarily trip the fuse just because you had a high voltage applied to the unit. That does not mean that the rest of the unit could take that amount though. More than likely, you have blown something on the circuit board, but I would suggest taking it to a repair shop and let them give you an idea of what might need to be fixed because there can be some lethal voltage present and we do not want anything to happen to you. I was fortunate one time that nothing permanent happened to me when I touched the wrong thing and I was hit with somewhere between 3000 and 7000 volts according to the doctor. Please be careful!
