Dual XDVD8181 In-Dash 7" Touchscreen TFT-LCD. No power and can't find fuse location?

Question edited for a lot more clarity. Here is the manual. This is an aftermarket unit unit so there will be an inline fuse on the power wire This one is a good diagram and shows 10 amp fuse on the yellow wire to the battery. Make sure it is connected there at the battery, but the installer may have just spliced into a live feed up behind it.. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/40984/Dual-Xdvd8181.html?page=5#manual

We have car audio that requires code, do you know the options how to unlock it?

If your car audio system requires a code to unlock it, there are a few options you can try: Check the user manual: The user manual for your car audio system may contain information on how to unlock it if a code is required. Look for a section on "security" or "anti-theft" features. Contact the manufacturer: If you don't have the user manual or can't find the information you need, you can try contacting the manufacturer of the car audio system. They may be able to provide you with the code or instructions on how to unlock it. Try common codes: Some car audio systems use a default code, such as 0000 or 1234. Try entering these codes to see if they work. Reset the system: If none of the above options work, you may need to reset the car audio system. This will erase any saved settings and data, including the code. The process for resetting the system will vary depending on the make and model of your car and audio system. Check the user manual or contact the manufacturer for instructions.

My GE Cafe cooktop CGP95362MS1 emits red flames on the Right Front Burner. I tried to clean it but to no avail. How can I correct that? Thank you

Remove the flame spreader and put it in a pan of cold water with a teaspoon of washing up liquid. Bring it slowly to a simmer. Be careful because it will want to boil over. Turn off the gas and leave it to cool. Use a plastic pot brush to clean and push the bristles down the holes in the flame spreader. Rinse and put it back, making sure it is seated properly. Most have a notch they must drop into.

Proton D940 stereo receiver. What kind of CD player and cables do I need to hook it up to the car?

The Proton D940 stereo receiver features both analog and digital inputs, so you have a few options when it comes to connecting a CD player to the receiver. For a digital connection, you will need a CD player with a digital output, such as a coaxial or optical output, and a digital cable to connect the two. Look for a CD player with a digital output labeled "coaxial" or "optical" and purchase a cable that matches the output on the CD player and the input on the receiver. For an analog connection, you will need a CD player with analog outputs, such as RCA outputs, and an RCA cable to connect the two. Look for a CD player with an analog output labeled "RCA" and purchase an RCA cable with the appropriate connectors to match the CD player and the receiver. Once you have the CD player and cables, connect the CD player to the Proton D940 stereo receiver using the appropriate input on the back of the receiver. If you are using a digital connection, select the appropriate digital input on the receiver using the input selector button on the front of the receiver. If you are using an analog connection, select the appropriate analog input using the same input selector button.

How do I reset a TRP am/fm cd player. When i turn it on it says P55 2001

This is an old question but I recently had the same problem. The owners manual says to press and hold the band and preset 1 buttons simultaneously. This did not work for me. I removed the radio from the dash and pulled the fuse on the back of the radio. Replacing it after a few seconds reset the radio.

My pure cd player keeps changing source to AUX. How do I stop this from happening.

If your Pure CD player keeps changing source to AUX, it may be due to a few different reasons. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the connections: Make sure that the cables connecting your CD player to your speakers or amplifier are securely plugged in. Loose or faulty connections can cause interruptions in the signal and trigger the player to switch to AUX mode.
  2. Clean the input selector switch: If your CD player has an input selector switch, dust and debris may accumulate over time and cause the switch to malfunction. Clean the switch using a can of compressed air or a soft-bristled brush.
  3. Check the settings: Some CD players may have settings that automatically switch to AUX mode when no signal is detected from the CD player. Check your user manual to see if your CD player has this feature and how to turn it off.
  4. Reset the CD player: Turn off your CD player and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on to see if the issue is resolved.
  5. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above solutions work, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair or replacement of your CD player if necessary.
Note: Before attempting any maintenance or repair work on your CD player, be sure to read the user manual thoroughly and follow any safety precautions.

It i stuck on the cd button and I can not get it to change

If your device is stuck on the CD button and you're unable to change it, try the following steps:
  1. Check the device's manual: First, consult the manual for your device to see if there are any specific instructions for changing the input source. Some devices may require a particular button sequence or menu selection to switch inputs.
  2. Power cycle the device: Turn off the device and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again. This may help to reset the device and allow you to change the input source.
  3. Check the remote control: Ensure that the batteries in the remote control are working properly and that you are using the correct remote control for the device. Some devices may require a specific remote control to change inputs.
  4. Try a different input: If you're unable to change the input from the CD button, try selecting a different input button such as the radio or auxiliary input. This may help to reset the device and allow you to change the input source.
  5. Contact the manufacturer: If none of the above steps work, contact the manufacturer for assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or suggest repairs or replacement options.
Hopefully, one of these steps will help you resolve the issue and allow you to change the input source on your device.

Why won't my front speKers play on my avh 200e x?

There could be several reasons why your front speakers are not playing on your AVH 200EX. Here are some possible causes:
  1. Wiring issues: Check the wiring connections between the receiver and the front speakers. Make sure that the wires are properly connected and that there are no loose connections.
  2. Speaker settings: Check the speaker settings on your receiver to make sure that the front speakers are enabled and set to the correct size and frequency response.
  3. Balance and fader settings: Check the balance and fader settings on your receiver to make sure that the front speakers are not set to a low level or muted.
  4. Amplifier issues: If you have an external amplifier, check to make sure that it is properly connected and powered on.
  5. Speaker problems: If the front speakers are still not playing, there may be an issue with the speakers themselves. Check to see if the speakers are damaged or if the wiring connections are loose.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to consult with a professional or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

I have a Boss BV850ACP audio receiver and it is not responsive to touch. I can view all the information on it, but I cannot adjust anything by touching the screen

there are a few things you can try that may help to resolve the issue: 1. Check the screen for any dirt or dust buildup and clean with a soft cloth and some cleaning solution, if necessary. 2. Make sure you are using the correct touch settings. On the main menu, select "Settings" and then "Touch Settings". From here, make sure the "Touch Function" is set to "on". 3. Try a reboot of your receiver by pressing and holding the "Power" button for 10 seconds. This should reset the system and may be able to fix any underlying connection or hardware issues. If all else fails, then it may be a hardware issue
