There are two likely possibilities. These problems would either be that the head is damaged or jammed or there is a loose connection inside.
You can easily test if it is the heads by flipping up the head assembly and then turn it on. If it runs with the heads flipped up but not when they are snapped down, you can assume that the heads are the problem and they will need to be replaced.
