i had the exact same issue. it's a broken latch mechanism, and is a fairly common problem.

i bought the part at my local repair shop for $45 (you can find it online for $30). it literally took 10 minutes.

you need to right size bit to remove the 10 bolts on the interior of the door. once you have those out, the latch slides right out of the top. there are 2 electrical connectors (careful - you can get a shock. disconnect the 2 connectors, reconnect to the new one, and zip your 10 bolts back in. super easy

Can you hear the wash pump operating during the cycle? Pump could be faulty or blocked, or the pcb could be at fault

You broke it!!!!!!! Check out the wiring associated with on/off cycle. There might also be a switch by the door designed to not allow unit to turn on when door is open - check it out. It might not be engaged if the inner panel of door is not properly hitting the switch.

This worked perfectly for me. Follow the link that shows you which two screws to take out. It is one screw on each side of the inside door frame. One on the left and one on the right (not the top one, but the second one down). Then pull the door handle upward about 2 inches and the whole washer face comes up. Jiggle it off and tighten the handle. Only tricky thing is that you need a star screwdriver.

The problem I had in the beginning was that I took off the middle screws on top (cause that's what it looks like in the picture), but it's actually the side screws. Don't take them all off - just the two you need.

yes the have power cord. see this steps and fix it.God bless you1. No power to the dishwasher Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced. 2. Door switch Replace if defective. 3. Timer or Control Electronic Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem). 4. Selector switch Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).
