Beautiful!!! Good News!!! For All MICROGRAFX DRAW 5 guys. I was tired looking for patches to run mi MICROGRAFX DRAW 5 in 64bit computer, with no success. I gave up. But I installed Windows 8 recently in my computer, and I found out that Windows 8 let me install my very loved program MICROGRAFX DRAW 5. And it is running as it should be. really nice. I am really happy for it. I kicked windows 7 out. As soon as Windows 8 received the installation command; it told me that a 16bit program needs a compatibility. Then it asked me if I want to have that. I clicked YES; and Windows 8 did all the work. The program got installed seamless in seconds; with all the features. Sincerely; Francisco.

It would seem there is a issue with the microphone somehwhere.

Please try the following

1) Click Start>Control Panel>Sounds and audio Devices>Audio
2) Under the heading recording click on volume
3) ensure the column Mic is there if not click on Options at the top and then properties and put a little check box next to mic and click on OK.
4) Once this has been selected make sure there is a tick in 'select' on the next page and then click on the cross on the top right hand side of th epage.
5) Back on the Sounds and audio properties window click on volume nder sound playback and then click on options and then properties and put a tick in the box entitled mic.
6) this will cause the Mic window to appear ensure this has not been muted

Please try the above and please also ensure you recording mic has been plugged into the back of the PC correctly, it should be plugged into the light pink coloured port

I think the problem is..... Magix is compatible with XP 64 bit but not with Vista or 7 64 bit, not much 3rd party software is.

1rst- Maybe you choose the incorrect metronome. On analog audio record use your default audio card metronome and on MIDI audio record, use MIDI metronome!
2nd- Check your memory video card & remember your computer speed is as fast as the lowest speed component on it.

Try updating MS

go to your control panel ... select sound (speaker icon) and make sure the microphone is not muted.

just click the magix music studio where suituated the install software wil be visible dobuble click the software and step by step the next button wil come and agree terms and conditons to the software will install easier

You have to import the DVD, after you have click on the start page to create a new movie. In the workspace area, you will see the drives on your computer. Select the DVD drive and it should show the files on the DVD disc. Then import them into the work area. You can then drag the files to the timeline area.
