check all connections and fuses make sure u have great connection on ground also check for short in remote wire

Check fuses 1 should be on amp other is near battery on the new wire that goes to amp. If both are good check power at main and check remote with system on. If you have power and fuses good, your amp has an internal problem and needs to go to manufacturer for repair.

that amp cutting out like that means that its probably shot and it time to start looking for a new one

Sounds like a fualty amp to me.

go into settings and change the regon to default if that dont work try each one till it does

If you would like to have a temporary fix, I would disconnect the cables from the headrest unit, use electrical tape to cover the bare wires, and then go to Radio Shack or another hobby shop and get shrink tubing. Do not cut the shrink tubing along the length of the tube, only cut it to the size of the area that you need to cover. Then you can use a hairdryer on the highest heat to shrink the tubing down in order to cover the exposed wires.
