Lost the interconnecting cable, need help with replacement
It's a Male/Male PS/2 Cable. You have a couple of options:
1) Make it yourself. Find a couple of old PS/2 Mice, take em apart, tie em together and heat tube it OR
2)
How can I get a Replacement Cable for my X52 Units?

Pro. However, if you would like to request a cable please send your
details to
[email protected]. We will process the request and inform you as to the availability of the cable.
X-axis trouble
I had the same problem with my X52 and searched high and low on the internet for a solution. What I did was pop the base off and found a loose connection on the x-axis wires. I re-routed both the x and y axis contact wires underneath the p/s2 port and put it back together. Seems to be working fine now. I will not that opening up the controller will void your warranty and it also could be possible that your x-axis problem could stem from something completely different from what was wrong with mine. You may contact me if you need any help with it. mynameisbob AT gmail DOT com.
Saitek X52 Joystick
Try deleting the drivers for the joystick, visit Saitek website get latest drivers and re-install the joystick, might fix the problem.
Using Pro Flight Yoke, etc. in fsx
To keep the settings in FSX you must got to the main page, choose settings, create your settings then save the configuration file with a name, ie "myconfig.cfg" or something you will recognise,
Don't try to do the settings from within the game from the top menus as they are not saved this way. Exit the game back to the start screen and do your settings from there, This will fix it. Good luck.
The throttle is stuck open on my Saitek 3D Pro,
You need to completely remove the calibration you have done. uninstall the driver, reboot and then connect stick back up. Follow on-screen prompts for the driver disk and reinstall. Check there are no conflicts in the sticks own software once installed, then calibrate it.
If still no go, then the stick is faulty.
Trying to Taxi
Your joystick's drivers may not be installed or installed correctly. I reccommend you go to your joystick manufacturer's website and try to find drivers for your joystick.
The flight simulator (I'm guessing that's what it is) may also not be configured correctly to use a joystick. Check in the game options to make sure that you do have joystick support enabled.
Compatibility
As long as the computer has a spare USB port and is running Windows, it will be fine.
