Jenn-Air SCE30600 Slide-In Electric Kitchen Range Questions & Answers
Stove controls beeping and flashing "Probe"
Most likely oven sensor / probe is the problem. It can be tested with an ohm meter. Not sure about your model, but most should read around 1100 ohms at room temperature. If there's a tech sheet somewhere on your unit, it should tell you.

Jenn-Air oven shuts down after FC and F5 errors
Their was a good possibility that the solder could have been lifting of the contact points on the board, if the symptoms return i would check this, along with the said cleaning method :)

Hello again a just posted
We went through all of your wiring and discovered a few loose connections which we tightened and tested. Thank you Ken for being such a great help. Remember WE Can make work, even if we have to invent or own test equipment as the 110 v bulb and socket wires:)

I reconnected the the control
Hi.
I do not think that the "relay" is causing the problem. The oven has a bake/broil relay board, but when the problem the main control should return error .
If the oven does not bake or broil, and there is power to panel, but no error code, it is usually the temperature probe. The probe is located inside the oven cavity, and it is held by screws. The part is tested by disconnecting its wiring and reading impedance (Ohms) at the probe contacts. A good probe will show continuity at room temperature. That means that the reading will not return open (Ohms infinity).
If the problem is not the probe, then check the relay board. The board is part nr.23 in the diagram below. Click on the picture to enlarge:
If probe and board are OK, then there is an intermittent wiring problem. Check wiring to probe and relay board.
Here all parts and diagrams for this range.Regards.
Ginko.

I just replaced front control panel but when I
This is probably because of a poor connection on the relay board, or a bad sensor connection. If the f5 error code was not the original problem (and just appeared since you installed the new panel) you probably did not connect the harnesses exactly right.

Oven doesnt work getting f2 code
F2 Indicates the following
Oven temp sensed; over 600F sensed by control in time of day mode, bake mode, or over 900F sensed in clean mode.
Remove oven temp sensor located inside oven near back top. It's a long thin tube like part. @ screws hold it in. Pulls out easily. Check with ohmeter, should read about 1100 ohms +- 10% if not within range main relay control needs to be replaced. For diagrams and illustrations of your specific model enter your model # at www.appliancehelponline.com All parts come with installation instructions. Both of these are very easy to replace.

F1-7 code
F7-E1 - Common Switch Wire Is Defective - This error occurs when common wire to latch switch and door switch is shorted.
Check all connections at control board and at the latch switch and door switch.
If connections are ok, then check individual switches as outlined for the F5 error code.
