DVD Player takes very long to power on

If it's s older unit it sounds like you have bad capacitors. Capacitors are little transistors that are soldered onto the circuit board..They only way to change them is to solder the old ones out then solder new ones in...They hold a little charge to help power the unit up...When they go bad your unit will power up slow or dysfunction...It might be cheaper to buy a new one..But they are really cheap...but cost to get them changed..And there are a lot in there...That's my opinion.. Hope this helps

Philips cdv185 player every time I play music cd it stays on 0 and when I move to next track it goes back to 0

Player needs replacement if it happens on more than one disk
