LED display does not work

Hi,
There is an intermittent power interruption, most likely on the low voltage power supply side for the control board. Possible a micro crack somewhere or a bad winding in the low voltage transformer which breaks as soon as it heats up.

In simple meaning you need to replace the control board.
replacing the control board 100% fix your problem.

Good Luck!!!

Oven consistently burns food no matter what temperature setting

Well, must confess, we had this problem once, after cleaning all the knobs. We put them back, reversing the two temp knobs. The correct placement, we found, was the left oven knob, since it is not self cleaning, does not have the word CLEAN. This is the far left knob. Next, from left to right, appearing very simmilar, also with temps 200 to 500, is the right oven temp knob, which does say CLEAN. Third from left is the right oven function knob, with CLEAN, Time Cook, etc, and no temp numbers. Hope your fix is this simple. Hope your cooking is looking good cooking.

I have a Jenn-Air JGS885SOADS

oven burner may have to much oxygen and the burner does not lite all the way around, there is a cap or a vent as the burner connects to the safety valve, close about quarter of an inch. or one of the holes on that burner is dirty and the gas does not past the gas all around the burner. you have to see whats happening by turning the oven on, but stay at a distance. and look at the burner when it first comes on. that will tell you the problem.

It may be that your house cleaner got the igniters wet so give it a couple of days to dry thoroughly then you may have to get new igniter tips if the housekeeper did scrub too hard. If it turns out the igniters are the problem there is one on each burner point them out to your house keeper and tell her not to touch them at all. If it turns out not to be the igniters check the wiring and the spark module. Good Luck.

My meat probe buzzer cannot

I had the same problem and fixed it by simply turning off the power at the breaker for 10 minutes and then back on. At first, I just flipped the breaker off and back on, but it still kept beeping. Not until i let it stay off for a while did it 'reset' and stop beeping.

Gas oven not igniting, but

try to clean the bake burner bar to make sure nothing is obstructing the gas flow. A good old fashioned pipe cleaner does wonders.
also
Most gas ranges currently available employ one of 3 basic gas ignition systems; pilot ignition, hot surface ignition system (which uses a 'glow bar' or 'glow coil' - aka an "ignitor") and a spark ignition system. The latter two being referred to as "electronic ignition" systems as they use electricity in one form or another to operate the oven heating system. Only the pilot ignition system has an actual "pilot" (which is a small but real "flame") which might need manual lighting. flame.14x20.gif If the surface burners of a range are a spark ignition type, the oven IS one of the possible kinds of electronic ignition systems and thus will not usually have a "pilot" which needs lighting. Be aware though that just because the surface burners might light via a spark doesn't necessarily mean the oven uses the spark type ignition system too.

My jenn Air gas cook

One of the switches that control the ignitor is stuck; you might remove the knobs to see if the switch actuators are visible without removing other panels and check to see if they can be operated by annoying them with an insulated probe such as a chopstick or wooden skewer. Ours are controlled by a cam that is part of the knob itself that passes an extension of the switch. The extension is visible with the knob removed.

Good thing you pulled the plug since the high voltage transformer that supplies the spark is definitely not designed for prolonged operation.

When I try to light

Your electronic ignitor is bad. You can buy a replacement ignitor where you bought your grill. Just about any hardware store will have a replacement ignitor. They are real easy to replace. There is 1 wire to the back of the ignitor. There is a retaining nut on the switch. Remove the switch and replace with new switch. Plug wire into ignitor, Turn gas on and test ignitor.

Happy Grilling

Gas is not coming though

Friend,
ngfam1 at your service!

if the range has sealed burners. the tops where the gas comes out the holes should lift right off without tools. The little orifice holes can be cleaned with an old tooth bush and or toothpicks to get out any food that may have dripped and gotten inside the gas escape ( orfiice ) holes!
If not it is a gas valve inside and service should be called!!

If you end up needing service, here is a good company nation wide that can make appointments 24/7!
