The stove beeps and F1

f1 indicates either a defective touch pad or defective electronic control also known as a defective clock in some terminology it gives this error code for f1 and what to do Replace touch pad or membrane (this problem is usually the touch pad) Replace touch pad or clock assembly (also called the ERC) if you have any futher questions message me back if you are able to you can check both these pieces and not always are both pieces at fault it is usually either one or the other observe the component board on each and visually inspect for burns or cracks in both boards or tears in the ribbon cable if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations Thanks Rick p.s I await your reply

I have a jenn-air gas

ok...
Did you check the connections (everywhere en route -- even at the wire nuts to be certain you have solid connection?) - and you are certain that the power which is connected is properly "in phase" ??(as they say, black to brass or it will cook your A**.. If that's not it, follow the trail of the power, there's got to be something in there which is out of line

Jenn Air Range SVD48600P Oven heating elements not

http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=43495&diagram_id=661873#d661873
Above is your parts diagram.
If the element melted then a considerable amount of current must have flowed through all attached Componentry. Including the Element switches which are most likely burnt out too, the contacts evaporate.
You also have Thermistor sensors these too most likely will be Open Circuit, you need to check with a meter, they should be SHORT CIRCUIT.
The sensors cannot be "Reset" they must be replaced.
You simply need to trace out where the wires go BACK to the controller, and see if you have voltage at this point, work back testing as you go, until you find the mains voltage again, the replace any components that are NOT passing the current through.
The circuit is pretty simple, from the mains IN switch, to the Element Control from the element control through the Relay, and onto to the element itself. The relay can also be "Turned Off" via the "Control circuitry" too.

My side by side refrigerator

Hi, i think the noise is coming from the refrigerator compressor. What is probably happening is caused by a broken mounting spring inside the hermetically sealed compressor housing upon which the electric motor sits. If one is broke the motor will bang against the sides of the housing causing the loud noise. You need to call in a tech to verify the problem and if it is what I suggest, then he should go on with the repair.....

I have the Jenn-Air microwave

Are these Halogen bulbs? If so, wear rubber gloves when you handle the new bulb. The oils from your skin shorten the life of Halogen bulbs. If you do accidentally touch a Halogen bulb, be sure and wipe it with alcohol and a cotton swab before installing, or just after you have installed bulb. Do not scrape or touch anything hard with the glass of the bulb. Please rate if this helps, or if it does not. Good luck!

do you have any carbon built up in the holes of the burners if so these would need to be cleaned every single small hole on the burner needs to be able to have a clear opening for the gas to travel out of? Message me back if the burners are cleaned and there is no carbon build up on the under side in this case you may have to make an adjustment to your gas valve Thanks again Rick

F 9 flashing on stove

if i recall correctly f9 usually means either the touch pad has failed or is stuck or the control has failed and ther eis a hung relay... on most of these models if you gain access to the control there will be a servicer schematic and have your cheat codes... unplug unit and remove console usually on one of the side walls they will have it taped there and you can confirm my diagnoses. once you figure out which of the two it is go on a repair site an order your new part... fairly easy to repair...
good luck and please vote...

The freezer is hot in

What you are describing is the defrost cycle. The heater heats up and melts the frost off the evaporator every 8-10 hours. Most people aren't aware of this but it is necessary for proper function of the freezer/refrigerator. The sound of the water is the frost melting to water and dropping on the heater element. No worries. :->

On one of my stovetop

Most posible after wahing some water enter the electric igniter and create a short contact of the one burner.
I sugest first switch off the electricity of whole stove and then to remove the burner top and by the use of hair dryer to blow hot air in the igniter. Usualy is brown plastic box 5x6x3 cm and with wires in and out. After you dry it out check it again.
If it is dificult for you just swich it of for 24 hour min and you have 85 % chances that it will dry out and work normal again.
If both procedure above fails then you need to replace the igniter.

Jenn Air Oven doesn't work

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F4 in your range means oven temperature sensor circuit failure. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced however, if the rating is fine then it is the Electronic Range Control (ERC) that has gone bad & should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee
