How do you recommend cleaning your stainless range
wash rough dirt off first. Then use a rag and lots of soap to get rid of the grease. Then slightly soak a rag with vinegar. That should put a sparkle on things for you. Also, I use windex but instead of a rag or paper towels, I use newspaper. Just crumple up a piece and use it like a rag. This shines lots of stuff up and works best for cleaning windows inside and out.

I do not have the stainless steel backsplash, I
backsplash will not cause a problem unless this was the only open air space of the oven, if both left and right and back of oven are closed, this may cause a shortage of air to the oven. half inch to right and left of oven should be enogh. let it breath.

I cant get it to turn on

I'm Harvey the Master Plumber.
Your problem is: you cant get the lights or fan to turn on anymore is there a reset switch
First check the circuit breaker. If OK then check the transformer in the unit. It's next to the fan motor. If no power on the high side then you have a loose or broken connection. If you have no power on the low side the you have a bad transformer.

Converting a range from LP to Natural gas
Yes, it is possible.
You have to get the right orifice's for Natural gas. LP gas orifice has twice the size hole as compared to Natural Gas. Using it without the right orifice will put out way too much gas, and you will burn everything, as well as it will be a fire hazard.
Your local gas company or propane company should be able to get you the right orifice

Jenn-Air jgs8860bdp broiler doesn't ignite.
There are a few potential issues that could cause the problems you're experiencing with your Jenn-Air broiler. Here are a few things you can try:
- Make sure the gas supply to the broiler is turned on and that there are no blockages in the gas line.
- Check the gas valve to make sure it is open and functioning properly.
- Make sure the gas burners are clean and free of any debris or obstruction.
- Check the broiler burner for proper ignition. It should ignite within a few seconds of turning on the broiler. If it does not, the burner orifice may be clogged and will need to be cleaned.
- Check the gas pressure to the broiler. If the gas pressure is too low, it can cause the flames to be low or go out.
- Make sure the broiler igniter is properly seated and connected.
Jenn-air JGS9900 downdraft slide in gas range - no power and electrical outlet IS working
There are several possible reasons why your Jenn-air JGS9900 gas range may not have power:

To convert the appliance pressure regulator from one gasto another, do either (1), (2) or (3) below: Your unit will beequipped with one of the three appliance pressureregulator types shown below.1. Remove the cap, push down and turncounter-clockwise. Turn the cap over and reinstall(figure 10).NOTE: The gas type you are converting to must bevisible on the top of the installed appliance pressureregulator cap.2. Remove plastic dust cover from cap nut on top ofappliance pressure regulator. Remove cap nut fromappliance pressure regulator (plastic dust cover comesoff with nut). "IMPORTANT" remove plastic dust coverfrom cap nut and reinstall on opposite side of cap nut.Reinstall cap nut to appliance pressure regulator andreplace dust cover. "CAUTION" be sure marking forthe type of gas to which appliance pressure regulatorhas just been converted is visible in top of cap nutbefore replacing plastic dust cover. (See figure 11).3. Remove cap and forcibly snap out plastic plunger frombottom of cap. Turn plunger over and forcibly snapback in original location (figure 12).NOTE: Plunger MUST snap into position; the gas typeyou are converting to must be visible on lower side ofplunge
We have a old Jenair
i would suggest having some one check out your your fuse box. they can wear out just like every thing else. the mounts fur the fuses get weak from heating up and cooling down. hope this helps.
I bought a Jen-air black
I would the color grout that matches the counter and yes it is heat resisitant. and it cleans up with a spung. be sure to all extra grout off before it drys
