.I cleaned all the coils front and back and the temp remains to be 80 degrees my jenn air stopped producing cold air. This refrigerator is only 7 years old model number jfc2089hpy black glass model.

Sounds like the evap fan is not running. The fan takes cold air from the freezer to cool the refer compartment. If the freezer is cold the compressor is running. Generally the freezer will stay cold since the cooling coils are there but it must have the fan working to get the air up to the refer area. Pull everything out the freezer and take the back panel off to view the coils and fan, etc. It's a simple easy job to change the fan. If you find the coils are a total block of ice then it's another problem... the defrost cycle isn't working. Sooo... see if the fan is running in the freezer compartment first. See http://www.partselect.com/Schematics/Maytag/AA43-57.gif for fan location, item 18 is the fan motor. Let us know what you find out. source: someone else on this site posted this and it works

Fresh food section too cold

check the cold control thermostat with a meter for both OHMS and volts ( VOLTS is a live test with fridge plugged in so be careful) It must show 110 volts. An open or thermostat that reads infinity will not allow the proper cooling and defrosting cycles to operate and may in fact stop anything from happening as if there is no power to the unit? ALSO CHECK THE AIR FLOW VENT SYSTEM

What are the typical reasons for excessive ice build up in the freezer of Jenn-Air model JS48SEDBDA? The fan is touching the chunk of ice and making a loud noise.

I have this problem with my fridge if I load the freezer up, and I am talking there is no room for anything else in the freezer. ( bottom freezer) I have to get my heat gun or use a blow dryer and go over the vents in the freezer and thaw them out ( if they look frosty ) this has solved my refrigerator problems.

My mom's jenn air side by side refrigerator randomly started dispensing water out of the front. I couldn't stop it until I opened the door. now nothing works on the dispenser but the light.

Sounds like a faulty inlet water solenoid valve. This is normally located on the back of the refrigerator and the water supply from your home connects to it. Be sure to shut off water supply to the solenoid valve before you remove it.

How do i fix my jenn-air refrigerator JSD2488DEB .The damper door and spring fell off while removing a part.I have no idea where the spring is placed?

Parts for Jenn Air JSD2488DEB Shelves Accessories Parts This might help. However you could try putting the damper door in without the spring and moving it through its open and closing to see what is near the door the spring could hook to. Look for small holes or tabs.

Why my ice maker won't make ice?

1 Check and see if the arm is up or down above the icemaker. If it is up , push it down. 2 there is a small tube behind the ice tray that fills the trays with water, make sure that has not frozen up, if it has warm it up so the ice will melt; You can do so by turning off the freezer, shooting hot water on it.

I HAVE A JENNAIR JS42CSDBDA FRIDGE THAT WENT DEAD NO POWER,NO LIGHTS CHECKED OUTLET AND FOUND POWER GOING TO FRIDGE BUT NOTHING. IT ACTS AS IF IT'S NOT EVEN PLUGGED IN.

I am not familiar with this model BUT most fridge/freezers these days have a built-in electrical protection device [usually similar to a circuit-breaker] to protect the unit from any electrical supply surges and/or "shorts". You may find a RESET button located near the compressor housing. Press this and hopefully your problem will be rectified. Probably best to do this with the power switched OFF [although not always necessary].

No one turned off your power switch up above the refrigerator, I trust. So, either your power supply or your main PCB is blown. Check the fuse on the main PCB (up on top of your refrigerator in the compressor area). The fuse will be right next to that round, black piezo electric speaker on the main PCB board as shown here: 52f3d145-54c2-4885-b0b7-dceebc8d9c83.jpg If that's not it, then check to see if your power supply board is supplying power by measuring the voltage on JP11 of the Main PCB. You should see 26 vdc between pin 3 (GND) and pin 1. And, you should see 12 vdc between pin 3 (GND) and pin 2. If you don't get those voltages, then you might have a bad Power Supply Board. It looks like this: 73a3b2de-febc-4413-9ad4-529414e074c1.jpg Also of note, your 120vac going into the Main PCB board comes in on JP8, pin 1 (WHT) and pin 5 (RED). I don't know if you will be able to see the larger image of the schematic, or if Fixya will just give you a thumbnail, but I'll try to post it here, anyway: b028f564-3f79-41e6-b61e-1de07345fc54.png Well, good luck and let me know if you need any more assistance.
