How do I deactivate the open door beeper?

You can try this special mode, but it will disable the interior lights as well. You will be required to have both the fridge & freezer doors open, and to push and hold the compartment select MODE button on the display board for 10 seconds. When the cabinet is in this special option mode the following will not operate:
  • The interior light will not turn on when the PC door is opened.
  • There will be no set temperature lights (LEDs) displayed on the display module.
  • The door alarm will be disconnected and will not sound even if the doors were to be left open.
NOTE: When in the special option mode, the fridge icon will be illuminated, indicating that the appliance is in this mode. To cancel, you can exit this mode at anytime by pushing and holding the compartment select MODE button for 10 seconds. If not exited manually, the refrigerator will automatically exit this mode after 80 hours.

The door alarm of my fisher and Paykel E372B fridge goes off when the door hasnt been opened for a number of hours. How can I stop this.

You would notice that when it beeps, there are a series of beeps, which relate to an error code - also, the temperature panel would be most likely flashing the same amount of times the beeping occurs. The code relates to a component failure that the active smart system is having problems with. For example, 17 beeps would be error code 17 - which relates to the freezer fan is drawing less current than is expected. Either the wiring is open circuit or the fan is faulty.

I have a small upright two door fridge. Every time I open the door it beeps twice.

It relates to the defrost element being aborted the last 2 times after 40 minutes, and I suggest you have a technician check the defrost element assembly in the freezer. If faulty, replace.

The simple way to test a fan motor is to apply a DC voltage with a 9-volt battery.

How can i test compartment fan of refrigerator fisher paykel

first you need to provide more details of the fridge. There are two 12 Volt DC electrically commutated motors (ECMs). The motor speeds are controlled using a pulse width modulating (PWM) technique, which are controlled by the PCB. When the compressor is turned on, provided the doors are closed both the fans will also be switched on except immediately following a defrost cycle, where there is a delay of 5 minutes after the compressor has started before the freezer fan starts.
