Hi, For the benefit of anyone doing a Google search for it (which is likely anyone with a Fisher and Paykel fridge w/icemaker) the broken wire is a notorious design flaw, and if you see it dangling from your ice tray - symptom is no ice being made -

You must remove the clip underneath the ice tray, and a little foam pad with it. There you will see the broken wire attached to a little black sensor. It's a little fiddly to do in place, but after unplugging the fridge (unless you like a good electric jolt) you need to splice the wire and reattach it. Your ice maker should resume working as intended.

freeze tempt even tho set low / how low is it / must be 0 to 5 deg too work well . it stops at 15 deg .. . make sure both fans are working and the cond coil is clean . .. very important . .. water disp does not work with ice maker . you have a dual valve in the back with two coils . the ice side may have gone bad . if so replace the valve . both sides / only way it comes . hope this helps **** ..

the defrost heater or thermostat located on the evaporator coil thats icing up isnt defrosting due to a bad heater or thermostat,or it can be the defrost timer that powers these other 2 parts

It is an alarm state, either it thinks the door is open or the temperature is not within specs. check the door gaskets are sealing properly? Your best bet is to get a service visit.

The F2 code on the active smart model relates to an EVAP SENSOR RESISTANCE FAULT which means the resistance of the Evaporator Sensor is outside of the normal range (> 45k ohms). In the first instance - Check sensor connection at the controller but if that does not resolve the problem then the sensor would need replacing.

Turn the Fridge OFF at the power socket, wait 10 seconds and turn it back On. If still beeping, You will need a Service Technician to assist with this. See the site below for more help or to schedule a tech visit.

It is difficult to diagnose without providing a model number to your refrigerator however I am wondering it is equipped with an ice maker? It is common for fridges to come with one and many are not hooked up to a water line. If this happens, then the ice maker will continue to cycle trying to get water. The inlet valve in the back of the unit will buzz when there is no water pressure going to it. Please check your owners manual on how to turn the ice maker off if it has one and it is not hooked up. If this is not the issue, then please give a model number for further assistance.

The F15 error code refers to "Low Current from fan" not drawing enough current or open circuit to fan. Check wiring to fan, check fan motor with Digital Muli-meter for resistance - if open circuit or high resistance - replace fan.

9 is too warm set perameters 1-7 you need sevice check to see what lights are flashing ,in what order

F02 is evaporator sensor "out of range" should measure >45 k ohms. Measure with DVM and replace if out of range.
