I cant get my mic to sink
I assume you are talking about the RF A/B lights. If they do not come on, check the frequency to make certain the transmitter matches that receiver. If the frequencies do match, then the system will need to be repaired.
How to take apart a shure pg58 microphone
"PG58" is just the capsule on top. That capsule has been offered on many Shure wireless. We would need to know the model number of the transmitter (it is inside the battery compartment).

at the bottom of the page there should be a section called "Replacement Parts" that has anything you could possibly look for. Shure is a small private company and has unbelievable customer service, so don't be afraid to call.

Unfortunately, there are many, many things that can cause a unit to be non-functional. Try calling Shure to get it repaired, or call Delta Audio at 773-764-3634. Delta Audio also repairs older Shure equipment.
Is the frequency used by
It depends on the specific frequency that you have. Some of the UT systems operated between 698 and 806 MHz, and they are now illegal.
Other UT systems operated below 698 MHz and those are still legal to use.
Look at the frequency that is on the sticker on the back or bottom of the receiver or the sticker that is in the battery compartment of the microphone.
Not recieving signal
Make certain the transmitter and receiver are on the same frequency. If they are on the same frequency, then the system will need to be repaired. Try calling Delta Audio at 773-764-3634.
Why won't my 58 ut2 work with my ut4 receiver?
Make certain they are on the same frequency. On the UT4, the frequency will be on a sticker on the back or bottom. On the UT2, the frequency will be on a sticker inside the battery compartment (probably under the battery).
If the frequencies match, then the system will need to be sent for repairs. Call Delta Audio at 773-764-3634 to have it repaired.
If the frequencies do not match, then they will never work together.
