I have a polaroid television and the sound will not come on

Before you of think about buying or repairing, it may not be the TV. If you are connected to a cable TV or a satellite box, these may need to be reset, or replaced. Try resetting the box. Power off, If the box has a card in it...pull it out first. Now unplug power to box, and wait one minute. Plug power in, then reinsert card and power up. This may take another minute or two. If the box does not have a card, power off, unplug it power for one minute. Plug it in and power on. If this does not work call your service provider and have them test box. Try this. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.

How can I auto scan channels on Polaroid TV without a remote? I've done it before but can't remember what to do once it asks if I'm sure I want to scan...none of menu buttons will work.

Which model do you have? In general, first make sure that the source is set to TV. Look for a Source or Input button on the TV. On some models, the buttons will be on the back of the TV. On others, the control panel buttons are on the side or under the front bezel. Now, try the Menu button and use the Up/Down arrows to go to the Channel icon. Press the Menu button again. Then use the arrow keys to make sure that the TV is set for Cable or Over-the-Air as needed. Press Enter to change this using the Left/Right arrows. Press the Down arrow to get to the Auto-Scan option and press Menu to launch the scan. Often, the Channel Up/Down arrows are the equivalent of the Up/Down arrows on the remote. The Volume +/- buttons are function as the Left/Right arrows. These directions apply to the Polaroid 19GSR3000; the manual for this is available here: http://polaroidhdtv.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/UM_19GSR3000.pdf . You can find other manuals for some Polaroid TV models using the drop-down menus here: https://polaroid.com/support . The Polaroid manuals for TVs from 2014 and later are here: http://polaroidhdtv.com/support/#tab-id-2 . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Cannot turn on closed captioning on remote for polaroid fhd led tv

Do a reset to this TV, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. https://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ https://homenol.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done./

Need to change the source on my Polaroid PH-323016HD and have misplaced the remote control.

Without a remote control, you can't. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites. http://homenol.blogspot.com/ http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts. {View the site in web view or by a desktop to see the search box. Mobile view has no search box.}/

How to program a Polaroid digital TV without a remote

Without a remote control, you can't. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. http://homenol.blogspot.com/ http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ Programming Notes • If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote. • Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality. This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; to which you want set-up codes; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts. {View the site in web view by Mobile or a desktop to see the search box. I am trying to determine whether the power supply in a Polaroid UHD TV set is defective. All voltages are good except I don't know what the LED voltage is supposed to be. Can you tell me? Thank you.

It is dependant on how many LED's are present in the back light LED array. IT can be 35 to 60 volts. In most cases the power unit does not fail, the LED's do because they are pushed to their maximum output for the illumination of the screen. All it takes is one LED to go bad and the rest wont come on. The diagrams for the unit are not posted
