Yours has a removable lens unit. Face the lens to your face and unscrew anticlockwise. The MXL-T6 designation refers to the Cree LED Module. These torches run on 4 AA size batteries. The body of the flashlight has a threaded section you unscrew to get to the batteries. Look at the button end of the light. There should be two 'ribbed' sections roughly where your ring and little fingers would be when your holding the light normally. Twist these in opposite directions and the button section should unscrew like a normal bolt thread. This will reveal a plastic 'cartridge' that holds the 4 batteries. *Note* Look carefully at the actual batteries before you drop them out of the cartridge. They are fitted a certain way around so make sure you get your +'s and -'s the correct way around. To refit drop the cartridge back in the same way around as it came out. Then check the button section still has it's 'O' ring seal in place and screw it back on. There are springs inside the light so you might need to push the two parts together as you twist. Once you get the screw threads lined up it should go on easily and stop when hand tight.
