Jeff, If your centrifugal switch is bad, more than likely you are going to need a new motor because those are built into the motor. The only other thing to check is to find out if you are actually getting power down to the motor. If you are, then motor problem, if not, then something else is bad that is not letting the current get to the motor. If you can find your wiring diagram, you should be able to find which wires deliver the current to the motor and you can back track to see where you lose the current. Hope this helps!

i don't know. hook up should have been by a qualified installer and properly inspected and tested. be very careful. your unit may be under warranty. please inquire about a free service call before using it again. dryers blow air to the outside so it vents to the outdoors whenever it is running. there may be a small leak and the odour cold be vented which would account for no odour. be safe and update your home's insurance.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOUR MACHINE. I HAD TO TAKE THE FRONT PANEL, INCLUDING THE DOOR, TO INSPECT A DRYER BELT RECENTLY. IT SEEMED I COULD HAVE REPLACED A BELT IF I HAD TO. CHECK TO SEE IF YOU NEED A BELT OR IF YOURS NEEDS ADJUSTING AT BELT TENSIONER/ SAFETY SWITCH. YEARS AGO, I MANUALLY TURNED OUR OLDE DRYERS DRUM, THE WRONG WAY FROM INSIDE THE OPEN DOOR. THE DARN BELT CAME OFF THE TENSIONER. THIS MAY NOT BE A PROBLEM WITH CURRENT DRYERS.

Hi I had the same problem with my dryer and to my surprise the solution an easy fix. My dryer has been working great. This worked for me I cleaned all the vents thoroughly, if you are unable to clean inside where the vent screen is try this. remove lint screen, using tape or rubberband attach a empty paper towel roll to the end of your vacuum crevice tool. Also at the 99 cent store I purchased a appliance brush to loosen any lint inside before vacuuming. The brush works better then the one I purchased from Home Depot for $15. Vacuum the inside of the dryer, be sure to vacuum the very back inside and around the door. This is the tricky part now. The dryer flex hose actually has to be set just right. If the placement is incorrect you will get the error codes, dryer turns off after mins etc. Another solution that may work: The E:01 is a code that is generated when the sensor near the lint filter gets too hot. This is usually caused by bad air flow. Try running the unit without the vent hose attached. If the problem goes away the problem is in the ducting. You may need to have it cleaned out. I've also seen this if the lint filter is clogged due to the use of dryer sheets or fabric softener. You can try to clean the filter with Windex if this is a possibility. If neither one of this suggestions resolves the issue there may be a problem with the sensor, Bosch part number 154166, or there may be heat escaping somewhere within the dryer.

Look on youtube. A lot of videos available.

Check to make sure you have 220v at the outlet. If not check breaker or wiring. If power you probabaly have a thermal fuse thate bad. Whi h indicates either airflow problem. Or or cycling stat bad or shorted heater element.

T7 outlet temp lower than T8 inlet... clerical error? Does interior light remain on when this happens? If yes, then bad door switch. Check belt switch is not intermittent. Then there's the start/pause function of the control board which means replace the control board. Suggest you rig in a bypass switch for the door switch and temporarily bypass the belt switch to isolate these and address the in/out temperature disparity before $$$ control board replacement.
