Slow respond

Could be your operating system either has a virus or has become corrupt or there are too many processes running in the back round that are eating up all the memory. You can try some simply fixes such as downloading a program called RegSeeker, this program will allow you to clean your registry and get rid of any unwanted startup programs. It can be found on the web as a free and safe download from here. Just click the blue download button and extract the folder and run regseeker, first clean your registry by running the cleaner and selecting all and deleting them. Then go to startup programs and get rid of any unwanted startup programs running. If none of this seems to help, you will need to reinstall your operating system with the disc, i can walk you through it depending on which one it is.

When booting my dell optipexGX

you can try changing the coin cell battery on the motherboard (You can get one at Walmart for about $3
You may have bigger issues as the GX270 was one of the models affected by a batch of faulty capacitors that plagued PC builders a few years back. So check the capacitors on the motherboard (Little black barrel shapes with X on the top) for swelling and splitting in the X region, if they are faiing you will need a new motherboard, but effectively a new computer as that model is really not economical to repair

Do you mean that there is no display on the monitor? Do you hear a beeping sound during boot up ? If you can open you computer try to remove the RAM and try to clean it using a common eraser clean the part that has contact to the board. Try to reseat it again to the motherboard , your problem might be on your memory.

Try this step first and post again if problem is still there. Thank you.

My computer hangs/stop responding expectedly

Hi,

You can try to disasseble your desktop and check if the processor fan is not working properly. Try to clean accumulated dust and replace it if needed. Also add more fans to decrease temperature inside the system. Do not operate your desktop as possible, it may do further damage to other components of the system.

Hope this helps.

My machine is giving orange light, please help me

^^ First check all connection if it's in proper connection,
check the hard ware of your PC if it is all in proper, the IDE cable SATA cable, The POWER SUPPLY
RAM,HDD,VIDEO CARD, AND FRONT PANEL CONNECTION.
And if it is in proper connection. and you have still the same error,
try to connect to other working monitor, start your computer
and if the error is still there,
Check *********** BORD if there is a BLOATED CAPACITOR and if you see one, probably the MOTHER BORD is the problem and go to technician.
but if you down t see a BLOATED CAPACITOR, try to replace your RAM, and start your computer, and if the error is still there, shout-down the COMPUTER then try to replace your VIDEO CARD or connect it in your On BORD VIDEO.
IT WILL WORK.
But if it is noting happen call a technician. ^^

Can get wireless on my

Most desktop computers do not have a wireless card installed.
You need to install a wireless card in the expansion slot and install the wireless driver, then configure this wireless card with your router's wireless settings so it can connect to the wireless router.
