This should not be necessary during normal use. It is more likely that the touch panel has a fault or a scratch/ hole in it causing failure. Firstly, check that there isn't a build up of filth at the bottom of the touch panel which can interfere. 90 percent of the time it is a failing touch panel, sorry :(

you will need a cfcard, and a IPL turn the till off and back on with thw card in the till it will then upgrade to the new IPL

reset the tables in z

Locate the battery that maintains the information on the unit. Remove the power cell, turn on the device and shut it down soon after. Restart and see if it was cleared.

Guessing. Look for a reset button. Small black or red or even a small tiny hole to fit a paper lip or similar item.

you can reset the time and attendance with in Z mode reset the table and all should be ok

would that be master/backup master down?? if it is Mode Manager number 11 reconnect yes yes yes should pop up within 3 seconds and all should be ok

The power brick is touchy with these machines. Make sure the AC cord is seated all the way in. If this is not it you may want to try to use a different power brick. usually the Epson printer power brick will run the register. try this. If no go, then I recommend service.
