Magicjack troubleshooting
My phone number is 407-309-3307 We are having trouble with the Magic Jack does not come on It tell me to wait and I wait and wait and nothing happens and some times it gives me a number . This happens every day some times I can dial . most of the times it does not work Please Help
Magicjack problems
Try another telephone as the magic jack device only provides a certain level of voltage output which does not supply enough power for a dial tone and power to older telephones. There are work arounds provided within the magic jack forum blogs which can be found by visiting this website, found on google.
Magic customer service
On your computer go to magicjack.com . Near the top of the webpage there's a black bar with the word "magicJack". To the right of that word locate and click on "Support". A new page opens. You should see "Get live help in seconds" and below that "Please click here". So click on "Please click here". A new page opens. On this new page click on the orange colored "Click here". A new page opens. In the little search bar type " magicjack reverts to old number" and click on "Seach". A moment later you should see a box that says "I'm online - Start chat". Click on that and a chat window opens. In the chat window type your name and your email address and click to select your preferred language (English or Spanish). Then click on "Start chat" near the bottom of the chat window. Then wait for a customer service person to type a "hello" message to you, and describe your problem as clearly as possible to them.

you must have internet access to use magicjack. after connect the needed cables (as per the instructions) you must contact magicjack website to activate the magicjack device and request a phone number to be assigned to you. then wait for them to confirm and notify you what your phone number is. then you can make calls.

Some Magic Jack units do not reset themselves when your router loses the upstream connection (even momentarily). In that case, try unplugging the Magic Jack and then reconnecting it to the USB port.
If that doesn't help, check your firewall settings (both on the computer and the router). You may need to force the firewall to allow the Magic Jack to communicate with the wide-area network. (This could involve finding the MAC address of the Magic Jack. Then set the MAC address to a specific IP address in the router or set Port Forwarding in the router administrative pages. See
