The signal loss is due to the transducer not in the water. Suggest remounting the Xducer an inch or 2 lower to be in water when you plane out at full throttle.

Sounds like main board fault. Check the battery voltage too. If it is less than normal, this kind of fault can occur. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. All electronics when they age the electrolytic capacitors dry up and need replacing, and you get aging solder joints that increase in resistance... this could be giving you false readings.

Transducers usually have a 6 degree tilt down looking from the boat .

If its under warranty, send it back. They will say you grounded it or hit log. If not, buy a new one. You can't fix them.

You cant change time since is gps controlled. All you can do is to choose correct time zone For example NY should be GMT -5 hrs
