How do I configure sound card as default audio
Go to control panel --- Then open 'Sound and devices' - Under Sound and devices click on the 'Audio' tab; here you can select the default options for sound that you want to use for your system
Windows 7 freeze
Could be a hardware related issue. I would check for bulging or leaking capacitors on the Motherboard.
If all capacitors seem to have flat tops (the "X" is not raised or leaking), Then I would try new RAM - Memory Modules as they can cause freezing if defective. Download and install MemTest to see if you have any defective modules
http://www.memtest86.com/download.html.
If RAM is OK, then you could have a defective hard Drive. Try testing a different Hard Drive or run SpinRite
http://www.grc.com/sr/spinrite.htm to test and repair your Drive.

are you sure whether the ddr2 ram is supported?
