the beautiful thing about printer is that the software is preloaded in the hardware itself . simply meaning all you have to do is plug in your printer straight into the usb port of your computer. while the printer is on when that happens the computer will download the necessary driver to make sure the printer is functional! then you will also see a pop up to download their software . in that software is your salvation, for there while be a step by step tutorial on how to successfully install your new printer. To me it sounds like the rollers are shiney so may need cleaning

Take the cartridge out and dab on wet paper towel and clean the print head with alcohol using a q-tip.Be sure to unplug the power first.

Replace cartridge, but, before run the print test (cartridge alignment as well as cartridge cleaning process).

To replace an ink cartridge on a Kodak ESP C310 follow these steps: 1) Make sure your printer is on. 2) Lift the printer access door, and wait for the carriage to move to a position where you can access it. The ink cartridges are located in the printhead. 3) Pinch the tab on the ink cartridge. 4) Lift the ink cartridge out of the printhead. 5) Remove the new ink cartridge from its bag. IMPORTANT:To prevent the printhead from drying out, insert the ink cartridge into the printhead immediately. 6) Remove the protective cap from the cartridge. 7) Insert the ink cartridge into the printhead. 8) Press down on the ink cartridge tab until you hear a click. 9) Close the printer access door. It's probably a fragment or small piece. Look at paper path with a lot of light very carefully. You may need to dismantle to clear it.

Run the clean nozzle maintenance.

Check if the chip connected to the cartridge has clean contacts. Also check the contacts in the printer. Perhaps you need a very small mirror and a flashlight. If only one contact is dirty, or some dust or paper is between two contacts, the printer will not recognise the cartridge.

This model printer may only let you use genuine printer cartridges. If you try to refill these ink cartridges it will not work because the cartridges have an embedded chip in the cartridge that detects the empty cartridge even though it has been refilled.

It is the program that you are printing from that controls how big the print is coming out of your printer. Try increasing the font size in the program you are printing from and then print again.

Unfortunately, there may not be any Kodak ESP 7250 drivers for Windows 10 available. The printer was originally released in 2010 (based on Amazon's listing) with drivers for Windows XP through Windows 7. The specifications are here: https://www.dpreview.com/products/kodak/printers/kodak_esp7250/specifications . Windows 10 x64 (the common version of the OS) now requires signed drivers. Since Kodak sold most of the company, there is no chance of finding someone to update the drivers for a 13 year old printer. I wish that I had better news for you.
