Hi,

Try the following tips to see if you can get the Desktop icon back.

1. Right click the desktop
2. Select View -> Show Desktop Icon
3. Make sure the option is checked.


If this does not work, then you can try and go into the installation directory for your webcam software. For example, when you install the Webcam software, it may be installed in C:\program files\webcam brand name



In the installation folder you should have a .EXE file. If you right click on the .EXE file you can then select "Send To" then select "Desktop(shortcut).


You can also use this method by going to Start > then in the search box type the name of your webcam and you should get a list showing your webcam program. You can right click this and create a desktop icon as well.

What I could recon from your question is that your Bluetooth driver is not installed in your PC7.

Please be informed that any Driver software depends upon the hardware make and Operating System. So, you need to know all these information's to do get going.

Please find the Driver software's of your Bluetooth inside the installation disk provided with the System at the time of purchase. In case if you do not posses the same then you need to download the driver software from the web. As you have not mentioned your PC Model No. and Operating System you are using, I am unable to give you the direct download link. However you can download the same by visiting the website of the company that manufactured the PC(Lenovo).

Even here you need to be careful to download the correct software for your PC. You need to be exact with the Webcam Model number and the OS that you are using.

After you have downloaded the driver, Double click on the driver setup.exe file and go on clicking 'Next' until you get the 'Finish' option and restart the PC.

Turn off the computer then keep on tapping F12 key. This will give you options where you want to boot the computer. Select your Harddrive then press enter. Computer should boot up now to windows.

the wireless enable switch could be on the front of the laptop it should have a little picture on or beside it that looks like a mini satellite dish may be a slide switch if so slide over to the right to enable it or if a push key then push once

Go to the start menu, and in the search field, type in system restore. then you can choose a point/date that the bluetooth was working and restore to that point.

Hard question to answer considering the amount of different laptops available

Base System Device drivers are usually installed by what the manufacturer calls "Chipset" drivers. If you are running Windows XP, there is an Intel Chipset driver available at the Lenovo Support Page for your model. If you are running an Operating System other than Windows XP, I would go to the above page and compare the drivers listed there with what you are seeing in Device Manager. Install the ones that are missing. Hope this helps!

-you can try to press the FN + F5 to show you the wireless connection that you have in the Notebook computer, but this option is possible if you purchase Bluetooth as an option when you purchase the machine, cause not all S3-10 has Bluetooth in it.
