I see so many here with no sound/nopicture issues:ISSUES: 1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.2. This was the most inexpensive mount, but there are more if you google "Emerson EWL3706 wall mount".

Our prolem is no matter how we adjust the screen when ever there message at the bottom of the screen this don't show up or is cut off. I get upset when I pay the amount for this 42" Plasma TV and watching the news there extra messages across the bottom of the screen espically when school closing due to weather. I've try to figure out using the instruction booklet with no results. Any ideas where the screen to where extra messages in lower screen can be seen to be read?

Hello halljr..... Turn on the TV and the Fios box. Using your TV remote push the input button. A list should appear on the screen. Click on one then the next until you get the picture. Joe

Buy a new TV. Having the lcd replaced will likely cost as much as a new set.
