How can i get my laptop to accept my canon powershot a470 camera
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa (

Compaq Evo N600c Laptop over
Do you see any lights on the laptop that are on? If you see any lights and only a black screen, then more than likely your video chip on the motherboard has gone out. Some local shops might be able to replace the motherboard it might be cheaper than buying a new laptop. Good luck
Hello,
i have a problem with
Open the Control panel
2. Open the "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon.
3. Verify the "Place volume icon in the taskbar" checkbox is checked. If this option is not available or is grayed out, skip to the next section of this document.
4. If you were able to check this box, click ok and close out of this window and the Control Panel.
5. Double-click the sound icon in the Systray and verify that all the sound volumes are mid-way or higher.
Check Windows services. Right Click My Computer and Manage. Choose Services and Application > Services. Choose "Windows Audio" and set to Automatic and Start.
Now next you can do is
If you open control panel & click device manager the window that opens will show a list of all installed hardware. Look for anything with an exclamation mark beside it, or to do with sound. If you see anything, right click it, check it isn't Disabled then select "Properties." The next window should have some tabs along the top, the one you are looking for is "Driver," you should now see an "Update driver" button.
Check ur sound card information by doing this
Click on start menu
Click on Run
Type dxdiag, enter
Click on the sound tab
There is button of test direct sound click on this check if there is sound
Check ur registry. Check if the sound registry key is enabled or disabled. There could be an error in registry, run registry cleaner reginout to scan for errors.
My laptop is Compaq Evo N600C And When I Start
Merry Xmas.
Yes you have a read error. When booting press F8 and go into Safe Mode or Recovery Mode. From there Windows, assuming it is Windows OS will attempt to repair itself.
Hope this helps.
I Have A Compaq Evo N600c Laptop No Power Help!!!
Yeah it could be. Always use the correct adapter mentioned for your laptop. Otherwise it could harm the inner wirings and the motherboard. Always go for the right adapter. If it was any motherboard problem, atleast it would've blinked. So this might be the problem of your adapter or may be of the power button.

No speaker sound
Unfortunately, these small jacks are not very durable.
They can be constructed to turn off internal speakers when a plug is inserted into the jack or not.
There are normally small bumps on contacts in the jack that are pressed upon when inserting the plug and if their spring qualities are less than good, they stay somewhat bent after the plug is removed leaving one or more channels dead.
The cost of a replacement jack is miniscule (any electronic supply that caters to hobbiests will have them) but the replacement may require extreme care. The jack could be a board-mount type with angled leads that are inserted through the board or could be attached by thin wires.
With care, the board mount type is the neatest to replace but one should have some soldering skills and a good iron to avoid damaging the circuit board.
The wired type makes a messy repair and demands even more skill to keep stray wires from shorting each other and one always risks breaking the thin conductors while handling them.
