ATI All-In-Wonder® 2006 Edition RADEON® X1300, (256 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card Questions & Answers
Problem running video with ATI x1300 video card
that is an old budget graphics card not meant for gaming. An Ati 3650 or Nvidia 8600gt or better would suffice for gaming. The minimum specs for games show what is needed just to play the game at the lowest detail and resolution. UPGRADE!

Dell computers are hard to upgrade.
hi will
yes these cards uses a lot of power. Check to see if the power supply pushes enough power to run the video card. I think these card needs its own power source so make sure you use a sepearate cable from the powersupply to the video card and not share it with other components.
if you have less than 400w powersupply thne this is morelikely your problem
good luck
smeags.

I am trying to update my dell dimension 8400.
Re-Check your power connectors to the main board. mainly the 24-pin EATXPWR conncetor is seated right. Looking at the CPU & to its left there is a 4-pin ATA12v connector which must be connected. Bottom line recheck all internal power connectors.
Lastly there is a red slide switch on the back of PSU, make sure it is set to 115V.
Chances are something is loose. The motherboard manual for your board is a big help.

My HD 4850 fan is
Your heatsink fan on the graphic card is failing and the motor is going down hill, now saying it has completly stopped..,.. that means the fan motor is done for and need to be replaced to avoid further damage to your graphic card. Would reccommend you not using your graphic card until a new heatsink fan is replaced otherwise you can fry your GPU and suffer a complete loss.
My graphics card will not
How did you get your drivers and graphics? Did you install the whole package? What is the Asus model #? How much Ram do you have? I'm going to do a little research but let me know what you have.

HIS radeon HD 6750
Are you certain that your mainboard is PCIE 2.1 and not PCIE 2.0?
PCIE 2.1 cards like yours will not work on a 2.0 mainboard (2.0 cards will work on a 2.1 board, however) If this is the case, you will need to get a compatible card.If this isn't the case, have you tried this card in a different PC? It could also be that the card has a problem. The last possibility is that there are power issues. A couple of possibilities:
- An external power connector (6-pin PCIE direct power to the video card) is unplugged. Check and re-test.
- Your power supply (PSU) doesn't provide enough power to your graphics card & the rest of your system. Check your PSU's specs against the specs for your card. HIS recommends a minimum 450W PSU, and I would recommend a good quality Antec, Corsair, or PC Power and Cooling or Cooler Master product in the 500W range for this card.
- You got a bad card, or else it shorted out, etc. during setup or installation.
