Either your defrost is set wrong or it's not working,
try this , totally defrost the fridge ,once this is done turn it on , a small fan should be running in the freezer section , if it's not then this is the primary cause, if it is then your defrost is not working in which case you will need a new one. There is only one more thing to check and that is the thermostat .
once the fridge has reached temp or close to it, try turning the thermostat to a lower number then back again , if it turns the comp on and of or at least makes a click sound then it's ok, if it does nothing then this could be the issue.

sounds like a main control...check the fans ... unplug each on at a time to check if the relay will stop clicking...

I had the same problem. The cause is the digital display is not communicating with the motherboard. What had happened in my case is the plug connection between the door's digital display and the motherboard had become unplugged. The wire running from the motherboard runs below the fridge, and connects via plug located along the bottom of the fridge below the freezer door, connecting to the wire running from the display to the bottom of the freezer door. I just reconnected it and that reset the display. Glad for it too, I thought I needed a new $130 motherboard! Hope this helped!

If you are talking F then that is too low at -10, F? is what is required.
If C then the FF (whatever that means) at 40C is too hot and -20 is about right for a freezer.

The freezer controls the fresh side temp by letting the cold air through the divider. Make sure that the passage is not blocked or iced over. Also check the cooling coils to make sure they are clean.

I don't know - I would describe the noise as being like the wind blowing across a chimney. I have never owned a fridge that didn't make such a noise as it grew older - while it was on a cooling cycle and afterwards it sounds like water trickling. It doesn't seem to affect the performance though and I manage to ignore it.
