Digital display fading GE JTP45

HelloYou will need to replace the digital display, it will be part of the control circuit board if it is a typical design. Without specific make and model information that is about as much information as i can offer.

My double oven is flashing code F6 and E2

Error Code F6-E2 means that your oven temperature sensor has failed as well your electronic control board. The oven temp sensor, electronic control board and the touchpad must be replaced. Before you decide what to do, check the thermal fuse at the control panel first. If blown, replace it and the temp sensor. If you are lucky the control board may still be good.Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

My computer is reading check probe or put probe temperture in

Hello there and welcome to fixya These oven probes are notorious for going out after a given time or if they get a lot of grease on them they will give false readings so what i would do is first unplug the oven then remove the probe from the oven and clean the connections with a degreaser then rinse and let dry then let dry then cleatn the entire probe and reassemble and plug in the oven again and if you stil get the message then you will want to replace the probe or have the wiring that it connects too checked with a meter to see if it is reading the proper ohms a high ohms reading will mean that it is bad okHope this helps and i can send you more info on the repair if needed also if you have a warranty you may be able to use it and get it repaired for free ok? best regards Mike

Nothing happen what should i do now? i try to

If your oven is displaying the F2 E1 error code, then the problem is probably NOT just that the CONTROL LOCK feature on the oven was engaged. The F2 E1 error is probably an indication of an electrical fault inside the electronic control system for the oven.Sometimes this is simply a temporary error in the control panel circuitry which can be cleared by shutting off the electrical power supply to the oven for a minute or so at the breaker box.Other times this is caused by a loose wire or faulty connection inside the control panel, or it is simply a faulty control panel circuit board.Try switching off the electrical power to the oven using the corresponding breaker at the main fuse panel in your home. When you switch the power back on after a minute or so, press the CANCEL button on the oven controls panel. If the above procedures do not work then you will likely need to contact a local service technician to disassemble the oven, diagnose the cause, and repair the problem. If your oven is new, be sure to contact your dealer at the place of purchase since the cost of the repair may be covered under the terms of your warranty.Good luck.Joe.
