smoke from inside the dishwasher or the panel?

if smoke is from inside the dishwasher... firstly check that the element is clean? is there any evidence of melting on your lower basket shelf or cutlery basket? if so the thermostat or rhe heating element control may be faulty and will require repair. If its an old dishwasher, sometimes its just easier to bite the bullet and buy a new one.

Squeaking when dishwasher is running out water.

Look just below the countertop, where the dishwasher is located. You should see a couple of mounting brackets securing the D/W to the countertop. The "squeak" your hearing may be metal on metal?
If not, take a peak below the D/W door (you got it...put your ear to the floor!) - you should see two set screws securing a kick plate. Remove it. Inspect those pedestal feet in front- at a minimum you want to see them "touching the floor".
Beyond those two suggestions (50/50) which just may do the trick, it is likely to be a worn belt-
Though, I'm NO applicance guy - just a problem solver.
Good luck

Water is not working

Hi!
You need to check the following things—

Water-inlet Valve: The water-inlet valve lets water enter the machine. If this valve is defective, you need to completely replace it. It's usually located behind the lower access panel on the left or right side. It's the device with the main water line (usually copper) from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it.
Float Switch: The float switch is a small electrical switch that's located right below the dishwasher "floor." Above the switch, on the inside of the dishwasher, is a plastic cylinder that floats up as water fills the dishwasher. If this switch is defective, or if the plastic float gets caught or trapped in the raised position, the water can't enter the dishwasher. If the float switch is defective, you need to replace it.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.
Thanks

Plastic fused to hearing element

There are many ways to approach this. I assume it has melted and wrapped around the heating element.

One thought is to use a pair of wire-cutters ( called "diagonals"), and cut it off piece by piece.

Another thought is to run the dishwasher with heat option on, let the dish get soft again and pull it off (wear gloves).

A small plastic dish has fused to the heating

I would take a soldering iron and melt as much as you cant away from the element. There may be some residual but it will burn itself off after a few uses

I have a Whirlpool Dishwasher GU2451 XTST2. The circulation pump is not working. I would like a wiring diagram to troubleshoot it.

Unlikely to be the wiring. It can only be the motor, the door switch, the flood sensor, the motherboard or the control panel. Unfortunately no Service Manual for that model. https://www.google.com/search?q=whirlpool+dishwasher+gu2451+xtst2+service+manual https://www.google.com/search?q=whirlpool+dishwasher+gu2451+wiring+diagram ..

Hi, I have a Whirlpool dishwasher adp 4608 the green light is flashing constantly. It used to flash 7 times. I reset a few times and twice a bit of water leaked out. Now it's flashing constantly.

Please recheck how many times it is flashing. It can be as many times as 13 flashes to be an error message. Try this webpage as a guide to what it could be. https://www.espares.co.uk/advice/careandmaintenance/whirlpool-dishwasher-error-fault-codes
