My old hard drive stoped working so I go
The preowned hard drive maybe faulty.To test this hard drive, connect this hard drive to an USB hard drive adapter then plug the USB hard drive adapter into the USB port of a working computer. If this computer can see the USB adapter and hard drive as an external storage device and you can view the folders and files on this hard drive the the hard drive is working, if not the the hard drive is faulty and you need a new hard drive.

Select the option for Safe mode command prompt only Windows Advanced Options Menu Please select an option: Safe Mode Safe Mode with Networking Safe Mode with Command Prompt Enable Boot Logging Enable VGA mode Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked) Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only) Debugging Mode Start Windows Normally Reboot Return to OS Choices Menu Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice. select the safe mode option You might have to many programs trying to or accessing the internet at the same time scroll to bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click select task manager applications you will see whats running if you see anything you dont need running select end now and you might uninstall that specific program if you or computer does not require it to run and some unnecessary programs that could be jamming up your computer also under processes see what is ticking over in the background again if you see something you dont need to be running select end now and users you will see who is using your computer you might need to add more computer ram if you're not sure if a module is right for your system use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool
for a list of guaranteed compatible modules. when purchasing any ram you should always ask if they can guarantee compatibility

If you want to know what this is the error code is related toClick start control panel administrative tools computer management then select event viewer this may vary depending on what operating system you have
extend the events there you will see errors in red you will no what exactly what the error was and at what time it occured
or click start type in event viewer press ENTER

Are you the Administrator of the computer? You could have a infection of many types.
If your not the Administrator. Log in safe mode.
Restart or start the computer.
As soon as it starts to boot hit the F8 key - keep hitting the key till you see Safe mode options.
Start in Safe mode with networking
Now the log in screen should show a Administrator log in that you may not have seen before.
Log in to that Administrator. Shouldn't be Password protected.
Once inside you can change your account to administrator.
Click START< >Control panel> then look for User Accounts
Look at your User account and make sure or change it to Administrator control..

How do i take password off dell 9300 inspiron
If it is the administration password (password to log in as the computer's owner), you cannot remove the password because it is part of the computer's safety protocol. You can change the password only.
