Is it in a location that allows the sun to shine directly on it? Sometimes the light can trick the infrared sensor for the remote. Also, does the TV have any self timers enabled?

a 32 " tv is under 150 new now the board to fix it will cost 85 to 120 and your labor. if its not the input cap chips on the input then its the video chip / whole module take it some where an try again the environment might magically fix it. did you switch to hdmi on the menu 1st. an power it up saved.

This sounds like a power supply problem. This is a switch-mode unit and is normally not repairable. Please comnsult someone qualified.
