Go into the BIOS settings during initial power on boot up, often F10 or F2 are common. Check the date and time, if they are off, you should be able to temporarily boot by setting the date and time but you'll have to do it every time you boot. If the date and time is off, and you set the correct date and time and it still doesn't boot, you'll want to make sure it's booting to the correct drive.
When it doesn't boot, does it give you any error?

The setup program does not recognise your storage controller.
HP and Dell usually supply a startup CD, that will help you configure RAID levels and partitions and start the Windows installation. If you have the supplied CD boot from it and it should work OK, if not you can download it here

dear erwin,
as per your writing the server raid has broken .. its may be a problem with a hard disk , first you have to check the hard disk state . to do that you should enter into raid bios . don't try to something on that , just see the status of logical drive then which are the disks includes on that raid
in you post also it may give the details of failed disk ids
then you may have problem with your batt. unit , for that please do the above steps first then back with that...
How to get into BIOS
Restart Computer and during the POST self test phase, press either F10, DEL, or sometimes F8. Press only one key per start. Usually one of the three will work.
I can't access BIOS in order to ensure that system
Restart ur computer .
Press DEL , F10 or F8
U can try with all the three keys
And it will redirect u to the BIOS setup
It depends on wats the brand of the motherboard ?
