Calypso top load no water for wash but there is
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
(for 'hot and cold' just read 'hot'! Washes are in at least some hot water whereas rinses are normally just with cold)
If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck,
John C

Found rubber bushing part # 8316773 about 1 1/4"x1
Sorry, I cannot solve your problem, but I too came up with the same miscellaneous part after opening the top cover and back plate of a Calypso washer (model 110.21062.000) (ca. 2001). Cannot figure out whence it came or where it should go. Since I put things back together, the unit has sounded rough in the wash and rinse cycles. If you find a solution, please let me know.

There is water leaking out of a piece of plastic
The OB indicates and out of balance condition has been detected by the motor control.
One thing about the OB error is that the lid must be opened to clear the error and allow the washer to advance to the next part of the cycle. If the lid is not opened to adjust the clothes then the OB error will happen again.
If the OB error was cleared and the OB occurs with an empty load then the motor control has failed.
The drain pump must work. The image below shows how to run a diagnostic test to check the drain pump. Follow the instructions in the image below and check the drain pump operation. If the pump runs and the water does not drain then the sump is clogged. If the pump hums but does not run then the pump needs to be replaced.

It appears your dual inlet water valve has failed in this instance.
For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...
FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.
PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.
If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.
Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.
If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Washer does not empty water
Hi!
This usually happens if the drain pip is clogged...
There are two types of drain 1. By garvity 2. By Pump....
If its by gravity please ensure that the entire drain pipe is facing downwards with NO upward bend or loop as this would stop the water from flowing out entirely ..hence leaving the clothes wet.
If its by the pump... again check if the outlet end is not clogged or stuck too close to the wall or any other object....
Try and see if you can hear the pump motor.. may be that the pump is not working till all the water is pumped out.
Regards
Berry

My machine won't come on
This is possibly a timer malfunction - as eR should preceed any error on the calypso.
Unplug for 40 minutes - replug - and re-try to reset the machine.
THanks for using FixYA

Timer dosent count down
HI, this is a simple fix here, you will need to replace the timer/control module. this will fix this issue. this specific device is ruined and, unable to initiate the wash cycle correctly due to circuit damage.

Calypso wash motion washing machine FL code stuck
Calypso washers have been known to be problematic. In fact, there is a class action suit out there which could be beneficial to you: http://www.calypsosettlement.com/
According to Whirlpool FL stands for Flood Condition. Here is their explanation of it:
-----
FL flashes if any overfill condition occurs. This condition occurs when excessive water in the tub causes the overfill switch to trip. The control must realize that the trip was due to an overfill condition instead of a suds lack condition in order for FL to be displayed
With an overfill condition, the beeper repeats a warning every 10 seconds with no time-out. The pump is cycled in drain mode for 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off until the overfill switch resets or power is discontinued to the unit.
Press STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.
-----
Hope this helps.
