The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

How do I simply turn on the t.v woth the remote?
First- make sure the remote has good batteries and the batteries are in the correct orientation- positive "+" to positive, negative "-" to negative. It may be your remote batteries are used up. You won't believe how many times I find this during my Handyman visits to customers.
Assuming your remote is already coded for your particular TV all you need to do is:
Press the "power" or "on" button of the remote. If you don't have a remote "power/on" button then simply press the "TV" button on the remote. Your TV should now be on now.
Note: most remotes that come with the TV are already coded for it so you shouldn't have to enter a 3 or 4 number code particular to that brand of TV. You may have a "Universal Remote" which is a generic remote that works with many TV brands so they need to be coded to communicate to a certain model. Read the TV Installation/Owners Manual to operate the remote.

what you will want to do is go into the users guide and find the reset factory defaults option usually it involves holding a button or two while starting the device however are sometimes very different

I can't find UHF channle 36
Turn plasma to analoque tv tuner auto search while xbox is connected and turned on. Auto tune will pick up uhf 36 channel .Flick chanelstill xbox chanel is viewable
