Summary

Usage of compatible ink and leave the printer idle too long may cause printhead clogging
What should you do if you get this problem. Relax; you may recover the printhead by unclogging it. Follow these steps to unclog the printhead

1. Right click in the printer driver name
2. Select Properties menu
3. Click Maintenance tab
4. Click on cleaning sign for regular cleaning. Perform this up to 3 times.
5. If this does not work, perform Deep Cleaning

And if that not work

Some times it needs a good clean up but this is up to you if you want to do this,
But after you done this prime the printer so it gets the inks back in the heads, it may take a little time for the inks to work.

There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.

Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them,

Two possibilities :1. Waste ink around head ( at bottom plate of head). usuallly if using pigment ink.2. Head "membrant" broken. Ink will flow to paper even if no electricity supplied to head. Replace the head.

Hi, it could be a software issue.Try uninstalling and then reinstall the software again.Another thing you can do is download a new version from epson website. They usually have fixxes for it in the software. Look for your printer model when downloading for this. Good luck.

Yes it can but it needs to be setup as a shared printer.

It sounds from your description that you have the Rings to Answer set properly; however Rings to Answer is not necessarily available in all regions. You may need to check with your telephone service provider to see if this feature is available.

There are a couple of things you can try:

Check to make sure that the V.34 setting on the fax set-up menu is turned off.

Make sure that the ECM setting is turned on.

If neither of these two settings resolve the problem if may be that either your telephone line service does not facilitate this option or it is not compatible with your voicemail service.

It seems simple enough, but this is one of the most effective ways of fixing printer cartridge error. Mostly, printer cartridge error occurs when the printer head is unable to identify the cartridge properly. And the basic reason behind this is that the cartridge is improperly attached.

To reattach the cartridge check the following steps :

turn on the lid of the printer and then remove the cartridge from the printer head.

Check the cartridge to make sure that there are no scratches or other damaged parts that can contribute to a printer cartridge error report.

Take note that the cartridge should not be left open for more than 30 minutes; otherwise the ink will start to dry up and the cartridge will get clogged.

Why are you turning the printer off to change the cartridges? It is supposed to be turned on when you do it.

change main board ................ before changing you need to check print head and print head cable

Then in your toolbar RIGHT CLICK on the SSC Service Utility and select SHOW MAIN WINDOW. With your printer online to your PC, select from there your printer in BOTH boxes, that is in the main list and also "installed printers".
Close the window, RIGHT CLICK again on the icon and select "Protection Counter", "Show current value".
You will then see both the maximum count allowed and the count of your printer, which at "full" will be very near to or just over that count.
Click OK to exit and then select "Protection Counter" again but this time "Reset Counter Protection".
Click it to set to zero.
REMEMBER, THE WASTE INK PAD WILL STILL NEED TO BE RENEWED OR CLEANED OTHERWISE YOU MAY GET INK EVENTUALLY POURING FROM THE PRINTER CASING.
