I have an Oki ES9431 which had a paper jam in the duplex unit is now showing 128 Error 9.

When you remove the duplex unit you must turn the power off first. Once you have removed the paper you should clean the black rollers with platen cleaner. Clean any muck from the white rollers then refit THEN turn the power back on.

So I'm having issues installing the microline 320 turbo printer the character pitch 10 keeps blinking and the alarm light will not go away. I've turned it on and off several times.. what can i do?

When character pitch is blinking and the alarm light is on it means there is a temperature fault in the print head. A new head should cure it.

Where is the print head of oki data c 711

Open the main cover. Look up inside it and there you will see the long black printhead (A4 wide) hanging down. It will have a white flat cable connecting it to the machine.

Oki B431D error 127

The fan on the left side of the chassis has either failed or is running slow. They do however get quite a lot of dust and c--p on them and that can slow them down. Remove the left side cover and clean the fan. If that does not cure it then a new one is required. The part number and description are: 43289101 OR-Motor-FAN(80). Any OKI dealer should be able to get it for you.

I am getting a 617 614 615 and 616 error code on my OKI C301dn laser after installing new toner . How do I fix it?

The toners that you have bought are most probably not for your country or have the chips missing so the machine cannot identify them correctly. If they have no chips you can remove the old ones and fit them to the new ones. I would just send them back to your supplier and get the correct ones.

Put A4 in upper tray error

Change the printer properties to use paper from the automatic feeder tray. And, unless you are in Europe, you probably don't want to specify A4 paper. Try "letter" or some other size.

How to reset Oki 720 to factory default

Okidata B710 and B720 Maintenance Reqd. Reset Procedure
To enter the Diagnostics area:
Turn the printer power OFF.
Press and Hold the MENU^ and Enter buttons.
Turn the printer power ON (you can release these buttons as soon as "loading ... '' is displayed.
The Operator Panel reads "Diagnostics"
There is a list of Test Options and settings.
Press the Down Arrow highlight "Maintenance Info." Press the Enter button
The Operator Panel Display reads "Maintenance Info" with setting listed.
Reset Maintenance reqd. is highlighted. Press Enter
Reset Maint. Reqd. is displayed and Execute is highlighted.
Press Enter.
The Display reads - Resetting Maintenance Required.
This completes the process.

My oki c3400n continual paper jam's at the fuser. Paper comes out of the printer about 2 inches then jam's. I clear it and it happens again. Don't see any contamination on the fuser roller.

There are paper path cleaner sheets that you can get at supply stores or on line. They are sticky on both sides. They pick up paper dust from the rollers as it passes through the printer.

The low voltage power supply is located in the bottom right side of the machine. Remove the right side cover and you will see it at the bottom of the machine. It is the full length of the unit. All you can do is check the fuse but its unlikely to be at fault unless there was a power surge at some time. If the PSU has blown then the cost of a new one and fitting will be more than half the value of the whole machine.

The machine is failing to initialise. If you can get it into download mode then its possible to flash the eeprom with the latest version from OKI's site

Looking at the operation panel, to left and slightly underneath it is the scanner lock. There are symbols on it with a padlock. Slide the catch to the unlocked position. You probably caught the catch and unwittingly locked it or partly locked it.

You cannot repair this error easily. Most times its the main board that has the problem but its more than likely to be the scanner pcb than the main board. I am actually in the middle of the very same error and have tried the main board and it is the scanner pcb that is causing this particular problem. As you do not state what model you have , I cannot give you a part number.

How to clear a fake paper jam in oki B6250 printer

The usual cause of "fake" paper jams is a prior "real" paper jam. One of two things occurs.

A small bit of paper tears off the jammed stock and hides from view, but keeps the printer jammed. These can be hard to find and remove, depending upon where they are.
In the process of yanking the jammed paper out of the unit, the sensor(s) become damaged or misaligned and give false jam indications. This usually needs repair or replacement.
